Masterpiece Hand-Crafted Furniture

Really I give «0» stars for our experience with them. We bought several pieces of furniture that should have been delivered December 2013. The first piece was delivered in March and last piece in June 2014. But we are now on our 3^rd harvest table and our round table needs replacing too. The last straw for us was when the 2^nd harvest table showed evidence of powder post beetles and so we were worried they had spread to our new hard wood floors. He did build us a 3^rd table but when it was delivered yesterday 11÷13÷14, the quality of the table is horrible. We have asked for our money back now 3 — 4 times and he won’t give it. He did take back the TV cabinet, but refuses to give us money back on the other pieces. I don’t think he is ever going to live up to our contract and give us quality custom furniture that we thought we were buying. Mack the owner has now resorted to calling me names. I’m not sure what our customer rights are with the state of Texas but I think we have now given him more than enough chance to make it right and we just want our money back. The hutch does look ok but it is not functional as the shelf pegs are too little for the shelves which resulted in the breaking of 30+ year old wedding dishes that can’t be replaced. We regret ever walking into their store and buying any furniture from them. BTW — I have never done this sort of thing by writing a terrible review but felt I had no other choice and want to save any other customer from all the heartache and hassle we have experienced with this company.
