This is the first Chinese restaurant that I’ve actually enjoyed both the food and the service. The restaurant is clean and they have actual glassware instead of plastic cups which is one of those OCD things in my family. The servers were extremely attentive and kept refilling our glasses and clearing our dishes. Superb! Also I dropped my knife in the floor and before I could bend down to pick it up, the server appeared with an entire new table setting. Also, did I mention that it’s a clean restaurant which is extremely important to me. The food was above average — it seemed as if the sauces were freshly made, instead of the run-of-the-mill all-taste-the-same packaged sauces that I frequently encounter. My husband wasn’t bowled over by the fried rice(medium grain rice instead if long grain). But I thought it was good. And the prices were reasonable $ 9 – 12 per entre. Our family of five ate for $ 70 including appetizers and drinks. I’ll be back.

We have eaten at this restaurant many times and have been pleased every time! The Chinese side is good as well as the Sushi side. Highly recommend!

Amazing selection of must try sushi. My family gets the same table every time we go and the chefs here are always excited to introduce us to something new. The language barrier can be tough at times, but it doesn’t get in the way. Service is attentive as they all really want to know feedback on the meal. It’s a much more of an experience than just asking for food and eating and leaving. The restaurant is split down the middle with the Chinese food side on the right and Japanese with bar on the left. But you can order both types of food on either side. I highly recommend their Sushi. Everything is prepared fresh when ordered so it can take some time but it is soo very worth it when it comes. excellent presentation & great prices too. Amazing place for friends, family or a date.

This restaurant feels very dark, they need to improve lighting. Food is so so, prices are reasonable and the people are friendly. Not the cleanest restaurant.

My family and I love Ming’s. We honestly go way too much. They know us and offer us amazing service. The restaurant is split down the middle with the Chinese food side on the right and Japanese with bar on the left. But you can order both types of food on either side. We usually order mostly from the Japanese menu and I can tell you from experience that it’s all great! Try their chirashi!

Their sushi is always fresh and with a beautiful presentation! The rest of their food is delicious as well I just cant get off the sushi! Definitely worth a try, If you have never been!

This restaurant is listed as two separate restaurants, it’s one building though. I ate off the Ming’s menu, but my boyfriend ate off the Chinese menu. The sweet and sour sauce was almost of a syrup consistency. Terrible. The coating on the sweet and sour chicken was far too thick, and all together it just wasn’t worth the money.

Excellent food, great service. Since moving from NY it’s been hard to find good Chinese. food, Ming’s has been the best I have found since. They have recently expanded and started serving Sushi and it’s also really good.

I have been here several times and you think one day I would learn. The lady at the cash register is the most unfriendly. Tonight I tried to use a coupon and was given a hard time finally another employee told her it was a good coupon to accept it. Well I guess for saving the money in exchange I got uncooked brown rice in my meal. That stinks big time! Truly will be the last time I go there.

I was trying to get out of the rain when I found this place. I almost didn’t stop because it looked like regular Chinese food blah blah blah. I found a great bento box lunch and even tried the Louisiana roll. I ordered unagi bento and it was very good. The roll has some Cajun spice I didn’t care for but wth was I expecting? Lol bad ordering didn’t turn me off the place and I plan on making it a regular lunch spot. They have a fusion of Japanese Vietnamese and Chinese. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was quiet and soothing. Their hot tea was also very good.

I love this place! One of the few Chinese restaurants I’ve likes in Texas. I can’t seem to get beyond the salt pepper shrimp. So good flash fried and as close to NYC Chinese as I have encountered nearby

We have been here several times. Always eat in and the food is hot and fresh. The service is excellent and the sushi is excellent. We have had delivery a couple times and it’s always fresh and hot and on time. Just a rule of thumb… I would never order sushi from ANYWHERE delivery…

Went here for a Friday date night with my husband and we had horrible service. The food was ok, but not after waiting almost an hour. We sat without drink refills through the entire meal and someone came by as we were paying the bill and filled our cups. What a waste to fill two cups you’re just going about to toss! Wish this had been better. We haven’t been back since.

I placed an order online for delivery. The web site says that deliveries can take up to an hour, so I waited an hour before I called. The lady who answered the phone seemed familiar with the order and apologized for the delay, saying that it was a large order(which it was). She told me my order had just gone out with the delivery driver. I live about 5 minutes away. 30 minutes later, I called back only to be informed that no online orders had been received that night. The girl on the phone offered to take my order at that time. No thanks.

I ordered 18 piece sashimi plate and my wife had a couple of rolls for delivery. An hour and half later I called the restaurant to find out what was going on. Lady told me they were busy and said delivery guy had already left. 10 minutes later we had our food. My 18 pieces had about 4 pieces of fish and the rest was pieces of California roll. Are they serious?! Nothing tasted fresh and I will never get good from here again!

Not bad. If you’re someone that can’t get out for date night too often & wish there was a place that delivered sushi, this is the place to call. We ordered 3 rolls & split in ½. Everything was fresh & despite being delivery, those suckers were fully intact & not messed up at all. I would recommend to anyone in the area for sure. Next time we’ll try a hot meal… their entire menu sounds pretty good.

I was surprised to see all the bad reviews of this place. The Chinese & sushi are both pretty good. They give you a lot of food and the prices are very reasonable. I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve ever had, but it was better than most.

Ming’s Café is my new favorite restaurant. I love the sushi and the Sushi Chef. The ingredients are always fresh. You may customize the sushi as I did by adding avocado to the Shaggy Dog. The Happy Sumo is outstanding. Can’t get better than the Beef Takaki. The Snow Crab Naruta Roll is delicious with a light and fresh flavor. Ming’s is a small local family owned restaurant. Maybe one day I’ll venture into the Chinese part of the menu. Not sure why there are so many hidden reviews. They’re worth reading by clicking on filtered reviews.

Best General Tso Chicken around. We enjoy eating in restaurant and picking up and eating at home. Our kids also love getting plain lo mein noddles, no veggies.

I ordered delivery from them and it came around the time frame they had given me on the phone(~30 minutes). I had the General Tso’s chicken, crispy shrimp with walnuts, and some of their crab puffs. My least favorite thing was the chicken because I like my General Tso so be on the crispier side. This was pretty soft and chewy. The sauce was also a bit too sweet. Not too appetizing. The shrimp was good but nothing too special. I’ve had better but I found this one to be tasty. There was also a lot of walnuts so that was a plus! The crab puffs were also good. Some places skimp out and their«crab» puffs only have cheese. These had a good amount of both crab and cheese and had a nice crunch to them. My order was around $ 34 and I paid with two $ 20 bills. The man who delivered my order didn’t have any change and seemed to only have $ 50 and $ 100 bills. I think he might have been the restaurant owner, judging from the way he dressed. He dropped off my food and said he’d be right back with some change. He got back around fifteen minutes later and I gave him a nice tip for having to do the extra driving. But really, who delivers food without carrying any kind of change at all? It was cool that he made the trip back but that could have totally been preventable.
