Being diagnosed with, stage 4 brain cancer. My doctors can’t believe how remarkable I have bounced back from brain surgery, radiation and the year of chemo treatments that followed. Their quote: «it must be the yoga practice you’re doing» I believe it too. Thank you, Hanif.

Love, Love, Love this yoga studio! The instruction is exact and easily understood. If you want to learn how to practice yoga safely and correctly this is the studio for you. The classes begin with a 6 session Yoga 101 including poses, breathing techniques, as well as meditation. Each level builds on previously learned poses with much emphasis on injury prevention. I have been a student for several years, and my practice will always be a part of my life.

I have been attending to this yoga studio for over a year an a half. I have tried other classes and other studios in the past, but after enrolling to Rising Hearts Yoga Studio nothing can compare to these studio lessons, they go above and beyond. Hanif is a very dedicated instructor that really care about his students and promote the safe Yoga practice. His multiple level sessions are a really good strategy for new Yoga practitioners. Overall its a very relax environment and no extreme Yoga positions that just injure our bodies. This is a very conscience class that its purely dedicated to a good balance of body and mind.

If you think yoga is only for the young and über-flexible, but you’ve heard the benefits of yoga are numerous, then you really need to check out Rising Hearts Yoga Studio, now serving Spring and Tomball for 13 years. Set aside your preconceived notions about yoga and give Rising Hearts owner and instructor, Hanif, a chance. A chance to guide you to transform your mind, your body, and your spirit. Check out their short intro video here: The instructor focuses on age– and ability-appropriate yoga, allowing anyone to experience yoga’s benefits, from the novice to the seasoned. I should know. I came to Hanif 2−½ years ago, a 50-something woman with chronic pain from injuries suffered during my time in the military. I didn’t think I could handle yoga due to the pain and lack of flexibility. Flexibility that kept worsening as I continued to be inactive due to the pain, mind you. But my sister got me into a class at Rising Hearts, and I was hooked after the first session. At Rising Hearts, class sessions are 1 hour and 20 minutes. A typical class at another studio might last an hour. The extra time at Rising Hearts is devoted to to stimulating the mind and to meditation. This truly yokes the mind and the body, the central tenet of yoga. After attending classes here for just a few weeks I noticed a difference in my flexibility. My strength improved. My stamina improved. My pain lessened. And my attitude soared by leaps and bounds. I’m not saying that you’ll gain all these things. You’ll get out of it what you put into it, so your mileage may vary. :-) But if you want to try yoga, try it here first. You won’t want to go anyplace else. And you just may wonder where Rising Hearts Yoga Studio has been all your life.
