No complaints here. It’s your average skating rink. I visited for leisure and for a birthday party both of which were enjoyable. I like that they play games on the rink every so often. They also offer skating lessons if needed.

Great place. Fun atmosphere. Good musical variety. Restrooms are clean. There is a good mixtures of people that frequent here. The owners are nice.

Honestly, I used to go to this skating rink ALL the time when I was in elementary school, for school functions. More recently, I thought I would skate on in (hehe) and check it out for a possible option for my birthday party. While the actual location is ideal and the place is gorgeous, the people that work here… not so much. I mean… it’s not that I need for them to be gorgeous or anything lol! It’s that they were so RUDE!!! This was so SHOCKING to me because I would like to think that I’m a really nice person…
Sunday my guy friend and I walked in to this location close to closing, to get some info about options and to put down a deposit and people working there were just staring like they had saw ET or something. It was really weird. Clearly we looked lost because we were just standing there looking around for someone… ANYONE to say something… even if it was «hi we’re getting ready to close,» but nope… they just stood there looking at us. Awful customer service, awful management… this was just wrong wrong wrong!

Skate Champions was one of the better skating rinks I’ve visited. The people were super nice. The place is clean and doesn’t smell like most rinks

Over all a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and respectful. I liked this venue a lot, not too loud, very friendly kid environment. The only issue I had is the skates I rented were very dirty with all types of strands stuck in the wheel bearings of the wheels and the rink floor being extremely dirty, making it very difficult to skate well.

If you are looking for that old school charm, this is the place! You can come here and re-​live your childhood. The place is kept very clean and the prices are still very fair for skate rentals. Also, some roller derby matches are held here too. So it it doubles as a sports venue. They have a huge lot with plenty of parking. It’s a bit out, but if you’re in the area, great place for the family.

I was very impressed with this roller rink. We chose this location for my daughter’s birthday party based on other reviews and because it was more centrally located than the one we usually go to. The birthday party was a success! My daughter LOVED it and so did her friends. The girl tending to our party was very helpful and their party packages include more than other rinks. For instance, it includes free refills on the soda pitchers, 2 pizzas, ice cream for everyone and «Free Skate» passes for all guests.
I really liked the newer feel this place this. This rink is about twice the size of the other one we usually frequent and the staff was here was definitely more attentive and friendlier. This skate center is clean and again, the rink itself is huge and has very nice floors. I also like the big screen that plays music videos and the flashing birthday screen. Definitely recommend this place and their party packages.

I visited this place yesterday, guy at the front has no customer service skill, he seemed upset don’t know why, anyways he needs to be removed from there, rude too. The power went out since we had a storm I thought they would have a generator but nope, we waited and waited and power never came back on, we left. Overall it’s a fun place but not organized and not prepared for an
Emergency or for a power outage.

Every time I come here I feel a rush of nostalgia as I think back to my childhood days of racing my two sisters down the sidewalk on our skates! Champions Roller World is good for people of all ages and is great for family or friends!
The set up of the place is simple, you pay for admission at the front right when you enter and also your skates rental. After paying, the employee will give you a ticket for you to pick up your skates in the back corner of the building! You can put your belongings in a rental locker which cost 75 cents. Its a decent size locker, you can also fit your shoes inside as well! The skating rink has 2 entrances/​exits which can at times get crowded so make sure no one’s in your way while exiting because you don’t want to cause any accidents!
I been her a couple of times with friends and it is always fun! We usually go on Tuesdays because of their $ 2 special! Its $ 2 for admission and $ 2 for regular skates or $ 5 for inline skates! During the summer, Champions Roller World gets extremely pack on Tuesday evening, however during the school year there are less people there!
If your from the Spring area and have never tried skating! Or you need a cheap activity to get out of the house, or just want to hang out with friends, I’ll definitely recommend coming to Champions Roller World!

I would give them a 5 star, but it seemed like some of the workers working there didn’t even want to be there. The girl handing out the skates did not seem friendly at all. However the DJ seemed very interactive with the crowd. He had the whole crowd dancing and even played a game similar to Simon Says with the crowd. And there are one or two workers in the middle of the rink who would blow their whistle at anyone breaking the rules.
I went on a tuesday where the price is $ 2 for entry. Skates were also $ 2 and rollerblades were $ 5. You are able to bring in your own skates/​rollerblades which is pretty cool. They do have lockers for your personal items that are 75 cents to use. My friends and I were able to fit about 5 pairs of shoes and a small purse along with our phones. The lockers are one time use so if you open it to just get something you would have to put in another 75 cents to lock it again i believe.
Restrooms had 2 stalls for the ladies and are very close to the door for easy access on your skates. They do serve food and drinks and provide a bunch of tables for you to sit on. There is a point where you aren’t allowed foods/​drinks for skating purposes. All in all it was a great night! Oh and it was a summer night so the roller rink was super packed with careless kids skating through minimal spaces between people.

I would give this place a better rating if the customer service was better. The young girl passing out the skates was very nice & very patient & helpful. However, the man who checked us in & took our money, was less than enthusiastic when dealing with me. He really seemed annoyed that we were there. I was curious about that, but don’t want to make any wrong assumptions. Maybe he was having a bad day? I had 6 very well behaved children along with my husband. Not sure why you would work in a business with children, if you can’t crack a smile when dealing with polite customers. It is a very clean & well maintained place. Comfortable restrooms. Prices were very reasonable and the skates were in good condition. Based on some of the prior reviews, it seems they have recently upgraded some things. If they can work on the customer service, this place might really blow up.

Came here for a birthday party. Place was clean, plenty of parking, and the skates, including inline, did not look outdated at all! :) It seems that the private parties here are very well organized and they announce when it is time for games, food, cake, and when the last 3 songs will play so that people can gather up their things and return their skates back.
Maybe for private parties they can make sure if anyone who has tickets to redeem can redeem them because by the time the party hours were over, there was no one at the prize booth. My son is only 15 months so he did not care about redeeming the tickets for prizes since he enjoyed hitting the buttons to earn the tickets, but I can see this may be an issue with older kids. :)
Overall, fun place for a kid party.

Fun place. Haven’t been roller skating since I was a kid. I took my girls at their request. They convinced me that I need to skate as well. Had a blast despite a few falls while I got used to the whole balance thing.
The price was not bad. The skates were in good condition and for $ 5 you can upgrade to inline skates. I have a 5 year old and I really liked the walkers that you can rent. There were tons of kids out there with them. It’s great since everyone can participate.
The facility is nothing fancy but it’s clean and a nice atmosphere. They obviously cater to the kids and birthday parties. My youngest has already proclaimed that her next birthday will be held here.
If you want to do something a little different than the usual movies or mall outing with your kids, take them here. It’s a fun and memorable time.

Fun for kids, however, the restrooms are nastier than a truck stop! Not cleaned regularly & reeks of stink! So you wonder what their snack bar is really like. And do they really spray down those skates? Guh-​roze.

So I’m a huge fan of San Diego Roller Derby and seeing how I now live in Spring it just made sense to check out the local rink and see if there is a local Derby team. Not to mention there are some beautifully tough Derby chicks out there. Major props. So I grabbed my skates and pads ad headed out to the nearest rink. The condition of the rink was great. Floors were nice, and the wood was well kept. It made skating really awesome. The staff was nice. The pro shop lacked quad skate items save a pair or two of Riddells. and some shoe strings. Could use a better pro shop if you have a Derby team. There were a few skaters there but None of the Derby ladies showed. They did however have $ 2 admission today so I was thoroughly happy. I’ll be back tomorrow with hopes to practice with the home team. I’ll tey to post a few Pics.
Pros: Fun place, clean, neat, well kept, good staff, nice music
Cons: No In-​Out privileges, Sorry pro shop for a rink that has a Derby team.
Conclusion: I’ll just order my gear online from SDRD! I’ll be back tomorrow for more skating fun. It’s a great workout and tons of fun.

I have taken my daughter to skate at Champions Roller World for years; although we don’t skate frequently, we always have a great time when we do.
We have always gone during the afternoon matinees, so I cannot speak to the evening sessions. Champions is always clean, the staff is courteous and the skaters are typically respectful and well-​behaved – which is not always the case at some skate rinks. The only negative that I had about Champions RW in previous years was the run down restrooms, but those have been recently remodeled and are now very nice.
This year, we had my daughter’s 10^th birthday party at Champions RW and they definitely exceeded my expectations. The price was extremely reasonable; we had 18 kids attend and total cost was less than $ 300 for 2 hours of party time, table coverings (your choice of color), balloons, plates, napkins, pizza, drinks, Blue Bell ice cream, admission and skate rental for all the kids. Adults had free admission, but are an additional charge if they want to skate and need skate rental. My daughter also received a souvenir t-​shirt and a 30-​day pass for free skating.
Our hostess was Emily, who kept everything coordinated and on schedule. When it was time for pizza or cake, the DJ made an announcement so the guests could all return to the party area.
I was extremely satisfied with the experience and would recommend for parties or for an afternoon of fun with the kids.

The management is horrible! I dropped my nephew off there thinking he would be able to have a good time with friends but that was just the opposite. He was harassed all night about not wearing skates. He was not on the skating floor in his shoes and like many of the other teens and adults he was wearing sneakers on the carpet. He was followed around all night being watched like a criminal. Finally, he called his father to come pick him up but not before being questioned by the management and a police officer on why he didn’t want to skate and then escorted over to the skate rental and forced to get skates. When he got home I asked him how his night was and he was so upset about his night that he didn’t want to tell me. I would not recommend gong up there, out of the 17 years of going there I have never been so mad. I would not drop my children off there again.

I went here today for my niece bday. It is a pretty cool family place. They have good snack food (reasonable price)…2 of my niece never skate before, and they provided a hand made equipment that help them learn… Good music, skate, and atmosphere.
