I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to quickly cut my 17 month old’s hair, and that he was entertained enough by the toys to sit relatively still. I have been avoiding the first haircut for months because I didn’t think he would be able to sit still long enough for someone with scissors to cut his hair. After seeing this place while eating lunch at the mall we decided to give it a try. It was fairly busy, but that was a good thing for us, because watching all the other kids provided a few more minutes of distraction for my toddler during his haircut. Most of the kids seemed to be enjoying their haircut, and our stylist was very patient with my little one. I am willing to pay a little extra for the piece of mind knowing a haircut is not going to be a traumatic experience(at 17 months everything else is traumatic in his mimd).

I’m not really sure what people expect from a kids haircut place in the mall. First time we went was on a weekend which was understandably pretty busy. The lady was not very kind and she cut the kid’s hair way too short. But he loved watching the corny videos they were playing and doesn’t care what his hair looks like as much as I do, so I let it slide but continued to cut his hair at home. Well that got old and he asked to go back to snip it’s so I couldn’t argue. This time we went on a weekday and the place was a ghost town. The girl we got was very pleasant and I told her about what happened the last time and she was awesome. She asked for my go ahead several times during the cut and it turned out great. All I had to do was talk to her, you know, like a person. They email coupons every so often so I only paid $ 16 and my kid is happy so what else can you ask for?

My kids each got a terrible haircut here. The only saving grace was at least they were cheap because I had a coupon. Regular price was $ 25 and there’s no way I’d pay that for uneven choppy cuts. One kid was a simple trim on mid-back length hair, all one length. Easy right? The result is an uneven line, all slightly different lengths across the ends. The other kid wanted her hair cut to shoulder length and has bangs. She was sleepy and so she was leaning in the hair. I told the girl cutting her hair, but we still have one side fully an inch shorter than the other side. And it’s more like chin length, way more than kiddo was prepared to cut. If your job is to cut kids hair, then you should be able to work around them slumping in the chair. We will never go back and I wouldn’t dream of having a party there and subjecting other people’s kids to the incompetence.

I loved the experience. The place is cool and ver colorful, full of things that may interest a child. The haircut was professional and everyone there treated us well, with respect and they were all playing with my son during his first haircut. I will definitely go back.

This place is horrific! Took my four year old because I thought it would be a fun experience, but we were so wrong!!! Ladies working there looked pissed off. I don’t understand why they don’t smile… A smile doesn’t cost anything ladies, it’s free!

One star because it’s a cute idea that is poorly executed. Not a single smile or much acknowledgement of our presence at all. The people working there looked unhappy, unprofessional and honestly I was a bit scared of a couple of them they looked mean and mad. I found it unsettling to think they were advertising autism awareness and how they specialize in giving haircuts to children with autism. I work with the special needs population including children with autism and I would never recommend this place. It’s loud and over stimulating visually. Fine for a neurotypical child maybe but not for a child who requires less distraction. It was fine for baby’s first haircut but we won’t be back.

The customer service at this place was horrible. My son went in for his first haircut and the receptionist barely even acknowledged us. The stylists showed no interest in the children. You would think this place would be fun, but it was far from it.

Great place! My two year old barely moved because there was so much to distract him and the staff knows how to handle kids well. Not too expensive, either. I highly recommend.
