We rented kayaks on a holiday and had a great time. My kids are 2.5 and 5 and both enjoyed riding with my husband and I. They provided life jackets for everybody’s different sizes, and a junior paddle for my 5 year old. I took away a star because you couldn’t rent per hour and had to rent for 24 hours. So inevitably we only used them for a few hours and brought them back. It was $ 55 per kayak. I know other places are cheaper and rent by the hour, but they were closed on a holiday. Would definitely come here again.

Horrible experience today from the owners son Matthew. I came in after calling the day before for a Thule part and was told they had it for me with my name on the box. Got there this morning after they opened and after waiting for 30 mins was told whatever Matthew’s dad, James was doing something that was way more important than the business I was conducting. Obviously they don’t understand the power of referrals or future business. Also a few cuss words from Matthew showed his professionalism. Good luck selling canoes for the rest of your life!

Ugh, these guy are horrible. We went on their 2 hour kayak paddle trip and ended up walking a large portion on the way due to low water levels. I feel as though they should have cancelled the trip or refunded half our cost. But that’s not the reason we had a horrible time: First off they didn’t seem prepared at all for the day. They told a large portion of our group to meet at a different spot, which neither of the two informed each other of, so after finally finding the rest of our group we were on our way. We didn’t end up getting in the water until 90 minutes later. Then the one guide had to convince the lady(owner) to go with us at the last minute, which she clearly was not planning on doing. awkward… They put half of our group in the wrong kind of kayak for such low water levels. FYI; unless there’s a danger of flipping over… loan SITINSIDESONLY!!! We were told there would be free snacks; this turned out to be a zip lock bag passed around by the owner half full of sample size cliff bars and when I grabbed the cliff blocks I was told to «share those».(ummm lady, do you think I chose the most expensive snack by ACCIDENT!!!) Lastly they couldn’t figure out where the pull out spot was, this is inexcusable. Buy a freakin GPS already!, it’s a business expense!!! C’MOOOOON people!

Please avoid doing any business with this company that is not explicitely in writing. My experience has been quite unsatisfactory. After not honoring a rental that was paid in advance I requested a refund of money paid. For the next few weeks the only contact in the company who was emailing me NEVER told me they have a no refund policy(nor was that ever related prior to allowing them to charge my credit card). Ever since receiving a written refund request the person I was dealing with has been absent & discontinued all written and voice communication. Another representative indicated that an email with«alternative options» for using the«credit» with their company would be sent, but nothing has come.
