Spec’s Liquor Stores

I have used this Spec’s often over the past year because it was near my house. I recently moved and tried two other locations, neither of which even came close to the level of customer service I received at this location. Now I go out of my way to shop at this Spec’s just because of the superb customer service.

I think this is now my third or fourth different Spec’s store to patronize.
Pretty much the same as the others, great selection, good prices and friendly service.

This Spec’s is a wine-lover’s dream. If you’re not sure about a particular kind of wine to get, find Carol. She knows her wines and will make great suggestions.
Prices are great, staff is knowledgeable and selection of beer is also comprehensive. Selection of spirits is also good, although that’s usually not what I’m gathering into my shopping cart. When you do need something other than beer or wine, however, the selection is good and the prices are always competitive.
You’re always asked if you want a carry out (which is great), and they have a collection facility to recycle your corks. Nice!

The service was friendly and fast.
This store looks to be a wine lover’s dream as there were multiple grocery store style aisles filled with different selections. Not for me, but hey… if that’s your thing.
The beer selection was pretty decent. I was really happy to find that they actually carry Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier! This was a beer that I couldn’t find anywhere I used to live. I asked my local liquor store to carry it and they did… just once (how’s that for service?) and only in pint size bottles. Spec’s actually carries it in six-​pack bottles of normal size bottles. I’m impressed!
They also sell liquors and cigars… though I have my cigar retailer I’m still happy to know they support the cause.
I’ll definitely be refilling my beer needs here for the foreseeable future.
