We went for the Easter egg hunt and had a great time. Staff is very friendly and great with kids. Very informative and educational for kids.

Very fun for the kids, they take you on a guided tour and you can ask questions about their animals. For Halloween they had a big spread with lots of cool decorations. They can accommodate large groups. The only draw back is that for potty breaks you must use their porta potty, there is not a «regular» bathroom. Other than that we had a great time both times we visited.

Ignore the negative reviews! We went this past weekend & even though we could not ride the hay ride(due to muddy grounds from rain), we still had a great time! This place is truly a hidden gem! The staff are all so nice & you can tell that they are passionate about all animals that live there. Our boys painted a small pie pumpkin each for $ 9. Admission for both my son & I was not unreasonable($ 12). When we 1st arrived the boys enjoyed learning about one of the animals & got to pet it after. Then they painted the pumpkins that they picked out. After we all pet the adorable kangaroo! The boys also played in the corn with diggers & shovels. There is a place to have picnics if you pack a lunch or snacks(you are allowed to bring food in). There are goats & pigs that also roam free in the open field & will let you pet them too! The pigs love there bellies rubbed! I look forward to going back with my son another weekend! It was not crowded at all either.

Very nice place, We went with our kids for the Movie Night in the Pumpkin Patch and we had a great time for only 12 $ free popcorn and + the staff is very friendly, we saw some of the animals before the movie. Totally recommended if you want to do something different. there are some bad reviews and I just don’t understand, of course it is not a zoo but it sure is a nice place for families.

Do NOT go here! So not worth the time! The website made the place look really exciting but it was really disappointing. They had a couple of pigs roaming around and the other 5 animals(camel, goats, pigs) were behind the gate that we couldn’t get to. They would not run hayrides until there is enough people which was about every 2 hrs. Prices on website are misleading — one says under 2 is free and another section says under 1 is free, another says prices are $ 10 and another says $ 7 – 8. Overall, this place was overpriced for what it was worth.

My family and I had an awesome time! The animals are taken care of and groomed so well. They are healthy and happy. This is a wonderful wildlife refuge taken care of by people who love and integrate with the animals. We so thoroughly enjoyed this and can’t wait to return! Great for all ages. A nice walk through the refuge.

We took our kids on Saturday and had a great time! It was better than the zoo because we held a baby kangaroo, learned and touched baby bear cat and saw a lot of animals up close that we could not get that close to at a zoo. As far as all the extra charges… we all made pine cone bird feeder for free, the kids colored and made bat craft for free… we took a lot of great pictures in the pumpkins and bought some big pumpkins at a much better price than the store. The owner Gwen was very friendly, we will go back for sure!!!
