Customer service sucks. Forget calling in to make a brow bar appointment. They’ll leave you on hold for 10 min, or until you finally hang up. The Woodlands store is MUCH better!!!

Generally overpriced for hyped up products. Used to love this place but staff changes have made it not as friendly. The salon is worthless at actually writing down your appointment so they don’t have you on the books when you arrive. Careful with coupons as most things are excluded. I spent over $ 100 in name brand but they wouldn’t honor the dinky $ 3.50 coupon because everything I bought was excluded. Can you say done?

I don’t frequent this location, but sometimes you are on a particular side of town and need some emergency makeup for a shoot or a client. Even if they don’t have what I need in stock there is always a sales representative on hand to help me find the closet thing I need. Very much appreciate all of the customer service at this location.

I walked in this store Saturday morning in tears. My makeup appointment at a close by salon had been mangled and it was my wedding day. The staff was so sweet and accommodating! They immediately stopped what they were doing, sat me in a makeup chair and went to work giving me a wonderful experience and a great makeup job. The service was fantastic.

This Ulta took over Pier I a few years ago. I was so happy they opened a makeup store closer than going to the mall. The staff is a hit or miss. I’ve walked in there and received no help a few times, so I didn’t purchase anything. Since they’re not a large volume store like the one in Humble, they don’t carry miss spa face masks or under eye gel strips. I’m on the hunt for a good brand that’s not overpriced. Overall, this location is the cleanest I’ve seen. Products are easy to find. I love how there’s always a $ 3 – 5 coupon to use on purchases $ 10 or more(some brands excluded). If you don’t receive it in the mail, use retail me not! :)

I love love Ulta. I also like coming to this location. I have bought some Opi nail polishes from here and been disappointed. When I ise the polishes they look dried up on my nails like the polishes have been sitting there for years. Other than that Ulta takes all my money and I dont have any money to give away! Another thing is they are so under staff. There was only two people working. One doing make up and the other one was on the register. So if you needed help on the floor you didnt get it. Anyone need a job. I am sure they are hiring.

They turned my daughter’s hair ORANGE! Then the stylist, Latasha, had the nerve to blame it on my daughter. My daughter walked in there with healthy hair. She told Latasha she had colored it early November. The color was fine. My daughter’s hair was great, but she wanted it strawberry blonde for her sweet sixteen birthday. I went to pick her up as it almost took four hours. When I saw her my mouth dropped open. It looked like someone took a bright orange crown and colored her roots. Then it looked like someone blended red and brown paint on the rest of her hair. It looked like a freak show. She had dye running down her face, and all over her new shirt I just bought her. Her brand new shirt was ruined. It was a messy, hot, mess. I have never seen such a bad job. Latasha starts yelling that my daughter had too many boxed colors in her hair. I told her do not blame it on my daughter. I am already shaken and you are making this worse. Admit you made a mistake. She starts yelling at another stylist to tell me it is because my daughter had box color. I was shaking so bad as she put her hand up, and mumbled, and made grunting and hmmphhh sounds at me. I could not believe it. My daughter was in tears. I went to I thought the head store manager and told her I am now shaken and need to speak to a manager. She said me? I said someone. She sent Aerial who calmly listened mmmmm mmmhmmm. Keep in mind… After the stylist ruined my daughters hair she asked her to bleach it for extra. I gave my daughter a certain amount for the color so she said no. This was after she kept trying to fix it, and had to put toner and probably panicked. An expert later told me that bleach would have been a major disaster… Aerial and I walked over to the stylist… So the stylist says she wouldn’t let me bleach it this is also why. Aerial says not to be rude but why did you not let her bleach it? I told Latasha, the stylist, stop blaming my daughter that she made the mistake, I said people make mistakes but please own up to it. She said no I didn’t make any mistake. Aerial says” you both stop arguing” I said I am not paying for this. I said of course I won’t walk out and put myself in trouble but I should not have to pay. She said okay, but later tried to take it back, and I said there is no way I should have to pay. I told Aerial Latasha needed to be reprimanded and trained, and Aerial said I am not her manager. I complained about the shirt, and I mostly just hear mmmmhmmmm. Aerial was not rude, but she definitely was not making this better. She said she will have to talk to the styling manager but she was not there. I said I was already upset but it is worse the way I was treated. I told Aerial so it is okay to make mistakes, but then to treat me terribly on top of your mistake is not good customer service. Aerial said, Oh so it is not the hair but the customer service. I said no it is everything! I should not pay for bright orange hair! I left shaken and upset. Tracy, the styling manager calls me. After I tell her I probably do not want to go back if I am not compensated, she tells me the gm is out of town so she doesn’t know but she will not stop me from going somewhere else. I was shocked. No she did not say it rude, but the words alone are rude. Why would you mess up someone’s hair and then want Tony and Guy to fix it? She never offered to pay for her shirt. I said that Latasha needs training. Tracy said, «I don’t know we all got our license» She said«I don’t know what your daughter’s hair looked like before’ I said it was beautiful young hair and now it is ruined. I said I will show you pictures of what it looked like before and she said«great» in a monotone manner. My friend that was with me through this, a prominent realtor that knows good customer service, was shocked as much as me during this craziness. I went to the Woodlands, and Sammy fixed my daughter’s hair. She could not rightfully attempt the color my daughter wanted after Latasha’s mess, but at least she made her not look like a freak show. I gave her a 20 dollar tip on a 68 dollar or so bill, and I am saving the receipt for what I hope compensation. This was not just a tad dark or a tad too light this was a circus act job. Sammy even said this girl needs more training. Rochelle the Woodlands manager told me she was going to do everything in her power to make this right. She also told me to tell my daughter she is so sorry, and she was very sincere. Although Sammy did say she has fixed worse upon first glance, she gasped at my daughter’s orange roots, as she ran her fingers through her hair and saw the craziness. Rochelle told me normally Ulta will compensate for ruined clothing. Rochelle calmed me completely, until an hour ago I listened to my voicemail. It was Aerial stating that Ultas policy is for me to pay for the fix. Horrible! I should not pay to not make my daughter look orange!

I love this place! However, I have to be super focused when I go inside and know exactly what I want or else I get distracted by all the shiny things!!! I mainly shop at Ulta for all my hair care products. They have competitive prices, there’s always a coupon in the Sunday paper or on Retail Me Not, and your earn free stuff and discounts with their rewards program. I’m also a collector of finger nail polish and they always have the season’s hottest OPI colors on a big display.

I absolutely love this store! The staff members are awesome and are extremely helpful. I utilize pretty much every service they offer. Hair, eyebrows and facials. Andy with the benefit brows rocks she does amazing work and is super friendly. For my hair I use Evan I went to him for a cut about 3 months ago and I will be visiting him tomorrow for cut and color. He did a great job the first time which is why I am going back. I have read some pretty bad reviews about other Ulta’s I am so glad this store isn’t like the others!

I really like coming to this location majority of the time they do have what I’m looking for where they really did like my visit today because with only a $ 30 fragrance purchase I received a free sorry rolling overnight bag which is always a plus to get something free or not and not only that IUDs tonight the real dollars and $.50 off coupon. But batiks be coming back to this location is the convenience of the location for me close to where I live it’s always clean and neat and they had to leave his associates that are willing to please their customer they go far in the time to make sure you’re satisfied with your visit they even take it to the next step to find out if something that you are looking for is not on the shelves they will check in the backstock to see if they have it and it was extra special for me tonight because two items I was looking for a work out at all and miss you but they did have the items in the back. It’s less when you sign up for their reward you get extra coupons at some of the regular customers do not receive and then you also accumulate reward points so tonight I actually received two free items based on my relight points this is definitely one of my favorite stores I find myself getting lost in here all the time because they have everything I need to Weatherington make up and bath accessories to hair accessories to skincare the one stop shop and I just love taking my time here so I definitely will be back.

A friend told me this place would have a perfume a girl I was dating used to love, they didn’t. The staff was polite and helpful enough to suggest a comparable fragrance, she was delighted. And, while the girl is no longer in my life the scent of that perfume will always bring me back to those memories that were good.
