Olive Garden… what can I say? Nothing out of the ordinary, not fabulous, not horrible. Iced tea is about 2.95 a glass so to me is pricey. Some good entrees, some mediocre. Most places allow the older generation to order from the children’s menu, not this place. Ultimately, I end up with food I never finish and it ends up in the trash. Seems wasteful. A chain restaurant so don’t expect gourmet food and you won’t be disappointed.

This was a great event and I am glad I was able to attend. Lucky for me it was close to the house because I was in a food coma after we were done. We were treated like kings in the separate room in the back away from everything. Upon check in, we were treated with 2 drink tickets which I used for an Italian Margarita and a Strawberry Limoncello martini. I love their margarita and have ordered them in the past and it was still good. The martini was good as well and nice and strong. Our server Josh, was great the entire night and kept the dishes coming. He was really good about keeping our plates clean, water glasses full and boxing up the leftovers. There was soooooo much food it was a battle to get through all 12 courses. The risotto balls and polenta shrimp were our 2 favorite apps. The best main courses were the chicken Abruzzi and the paparadelle pescatore. Both of those were excellent. Dessert was very good as well, and even though we were stuffed, managed to finish most of the berry cake. Olive Garden has some unique dishes that you would not normally associate with the restaurant. I may try some of these on my next visit. Especially since we were given gift cards. We also received a T-Shirt which a nice touch. All in all it was a nice event and I look forward to attending another one. Thank you Unilocal for providing a wonderful evening.

This was a great way to do an event. I liked getting to try a bunch of foods and having some one tell us about each of them. It was also nice to see a menu to see the prices. The last time I was at an Olivie Garden was almost a year ago and I had not really thought about going back. After this event I’m looking forward to my next visit and I’m already telling people about the new foods.

We were treated to a smörgåsbord of Olive Garden goodness. As many chains there are some hit or miss items but all in all the revamped menu is worth a shot! the Chicken Abruzzi was hands down the BEST dish of the night and paired with our 2 drink tickets made for a great night. I had the Italian Margarita and it was GRAND, possibly better frozen vs. the rocks but it was great just the same. Our server Bruno was awesome and funny! The Wild berry Cake was to die for. It was so light and airy that I had to stop myself from eating it all. Thank you to @OfficialOliveGarden for the gift cards and the #OGTastes at the #OliveGarden Woodlands.

«The meal is not over when I’m full. The meal is over when I hate myself.» — Louis CK I was definitely feeling the aftermath of tasting every course at the end of the night. It was a self inflicted punishment no doubt and I gladly enjoyed every minute. The Calabrian chicken wings were my dish favorite for the evening. Would never consider the OG for wings until now. Baked then fried, I enjoyed them plain with no sauce as they were seasoned well. Our waiter, Josh(poor guy getting stuck with us rowdy folks in the corner), hooked us up with an extra plate take home. Which I have to mention I have quite a variety for lunch/dinner the next few days, score! The OG really outdid themselves alone with all the generous amounts of food. And as though sending almost all of us home with doggy bags was not enough, we were all given a gift card and an «I love Pasta!» shirt. Totally spoiled & stuffed.

Man oh man, what an evening! I’m still full from last night’s dinner while writing this review. Everything was great, the Olive Garden staff & the Unilocal staff, thx to Farrah and David for organizing a great shindig. On to the food, I have to confess I haven’t dined at the OG in quite a few years. It was nice to be able to check out their new items. My favorite dishes of the night was the pappardelle pesactore and the smashed chicken meatball sandwich. I love anything with seafood and the pesactore had great flavors and I could def. see myself ordering that if I visited OG in the future. The meatball sandwich was tasty, and would be a great lunch time order. Imagine chicken meatball patty slathered with mozzarella in between two slices of bread adorning a plate of marinara sauce. Yum! Last but not least the wild berry cake was the perfect ending to our evening, light and not too sweet, loved it! OG was generous and gave out gc’s through out the night to Unilocalers for posting photos and everyone left with goodies including a $ 25 gc which was rad. Not to shabby for a Monday night!

Oh my goodness! If a Thanksgiving dinner was centered around noodles and cheese — and made to feed 70 — it would then be this Olive Garden event! Yes, I am convinced that many people would have walked out stuffed and happy as can be! Olive Garden’s new items really take the restaurant up a notch. Lots of different combinations and spicy plates take you off the beaten path of lasagna(though that is a wonderful road to drive down) and plain salad. The polenta shrimp is must for an appetizer! A very light plate for the table to start with: the texture of the shrimp and the salty olives worked wonders together. When I come up to use the giftcard(as if delicious food wasn’t enough!) that I was given, I’ll have the Chicken Primavera with giant Fucilli as my entre. Very nice, crisp vegetables accompanied flavorful chicken on a bed of the fucilli noodles. The only bad thing about this dish was that it came out near the end of the dinner! I managed an extra bite more than I thought physically possible because of array of veggies! Other high lights I will not be forgetting: Wonderful service bestowed on our table by Jerome and Jaime! Not once did my water glass hit empty, and the wine that was selected by Jerome was as dry as I wanted and went perfectly with the night. The SPICY calabrian wings; which I will suggest to Charlie M. when we dine here, And the good time that is seeing my fellow Unilocalers! Can’t wait for the next event; whether is shows me a new and exciting hot spot, or brings needed attention back to a known one!

I should have listened and worse stretchy pants. This was a feast like your Italian grandma would serve and watch for your reaction at each of the 12 courses. Oh my! From rice balls, olive and parmesan fritas, salad, breadsticks, Mediterranean shrimp and polenta(my fav of all) to the various pasta courses and more healthy and fresh chicken dish served in a lemon broth with kale, cannelini beans(name escapes me– but it was great), finished with a refreshing and cool berry crème cake– this event was definitely a generous sample of Olive Garden’s revamped menu! Legit, after-Thanksgiving full. Great company, drinks and convo in their private dining room and the dishes kept coming. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about the selections and made us feel quite welcome. The Olive Garden generously sent us home with doggy bags of leftovers, a gift card to come back and a tshirt that said i pasta. Cute!

I’ll be full until next week… just off tonight, not even considering 2 bags of to go goodies! 12 course menu, roughly 75% of it would I order as a paying customer. My faves were the polenta shrimp, wings, olive fritta, spicy bucatini(mouth still burning lol), and the pappardelle pescatore. Pretty much all the dishes were good though. The only one I know I’d never order is the chicken abruzzi. I’m not opposed to a lighter fare but it wasn’t for me with the beans and the broth. The kale was good though. I really appreciated that they asked for feedback on the dishes, honesty is the best policy! Dalazia(spelling) was our waitress and she was the best! Everyone was cordial and made you feel really welcomed. And shhh wasn’t Liam a hottie! He has that ‘I was in the Navy’ body… whew *fans myself* I don’t think this crowd watched too much Good Times growing up… but Boom Boom Belinda surely appreciated her gift card! I won one and they sent the entire party away with a GC and a t shirt! #winning Love me some OG and Unilocal! If you missed it, you definitely missed a treat!
