I have probably visited this Burger King about 8 to 19 times since moving to the Franklin/Springboro area. At first it was average and we normally ate inside, but always had to return to the counter because they either forgot a sandwich, sometimes maybe it was just a sauce for nuggets, sometimes it was more than just that, but the food tastes okay. Over the last few months, we have gone through the drive thru since it has either been raining a lot or has been cold. Since then, the visits have been significant worse. Apparently for at least the last month, there drive thru intercom has had issues so half the time they don’t even know you are sitting there waiting to order. Now they have a sign that asks you to sat hello when you pull up. Twice this didn’t work for me and I had to go inside. I was ignored the first time for at least 5 minutes despite being the only customer and there easily being 4 to 5 employees staring at me while I waited to order. Most of the staff was cleaning which is nice because this is a rather dirty BK. One employee even came to register while I was waiting so I said high She just looked at me then proceeded to walk to dining area and help the others clean. Next I asked after walking to dining area if they were just closed. Immediately the manager did apologize. I explained I had been sitting in the drive thru yelling hello as directed by the paper sign they had placed out there. She blamed the equipment and did apologize. Needless to say that was the end of the apology and I did get my food which was cold and once again no sauces in the bag after they were requested twice. On this day I simply checked in on Unilocal and stated I’d give them one more chance before writing my review. Since this visit we have returned twice through the drive thru. Again, paper sign is still outside of drive thru intercom. Both times have had to repeat order multiple times. Both times food order was still wrong despite receipt being correct. Last night… no cheese on Whopper as ordered and again no sauces in bag… fries and onion rings cold… and overall again they were not busy and I felt like a nuisance. Bottom line, no Whopper is worth this frustration and I have given them plenty of chances to make at least some improvement.

Average BK… its in the middle-ish of town, so you’re going to have to get off the highway a bit if that’s your plan. The service is just… slow. And not even because they had to make fresh food or anything… If I’m in the area, I might venture back, but I won’t get off the highway to go. It’s just always been OK…
