My mom and I were drawn into Hidden Hill Gallery by a sign advertising«Chocolate in Art» but ended up leaving the store with an art purchase… here’s how it happened: Hidden Hill Gallery is located in the middle of Main Street in historic Old Springboro. The gallery features a whole case of chocolate art by an artist/chocolate maker based out of Fort Myers, Florida, that the gallery has brought in specially for sale. Each piece of beautifully crafted chocolate cost $ 1.50 but they’re so decadent and pretty they are worth it. The friendly shop owner let us sample the chocolate before we decided which ones we wanted to purchase, which was really nice. While we were waiting for our chocolate to be packed up we wandered around the rest of the gallery and ended up stumbling upon a gorgeous painting of all of the historically Republican presidents playing cards… we were searching for a Father’s Day present for my dad all day and the painting was so perfect for my dad it was scary. The gallery has paintings that run from about $ 100 to over $ 1,000…our print, which came framed and matted, was $ 395. We can’t wait to give the present to my dad and will be back to look at their new inventory and to buy more chocolate, I’m sure!
