This was my second visit to this fairly new Waffle House. I really do not like to write negative reviews, but after my second visit, the first visit being okay and this one being absolutely horrible, i feel I have enough information… the highest I could rate this would be 2 stars. My son and I went out for just a «QUICK» dinner tonight before heading to the grocery store. This was anything but a quick experience. I realize Waffle House is not a fast food restaurant, but you should expect for 2 people, and no wait to get a seat, to at least be out in an hour tops. Our server was busy when we took our seats and someone that worked the grill did come let us know she was busy and offered to get our drinks. That is about as good as it got… a moment of teamwork before our server actually arrived. Once our server came to get our order, she visited our table a total of three times(once to get our order, 2nd because i waived her down for refills, and the 3rd and final time she dropped off our food). I would say once we ordered, it was a good 45 minutes before our food was delivered. We were both so hungry and anxious about the wait time, we figured getting the food would make us feel better. I wish I could have taken a picture of our plates, but I was honestly too frustrated to do so. Besides the hashbrowns being good, everything else on our plate was cold. When she dropped off the food, our drinks were again half empty, however, she never returned to check on us. I made eye contact with our server several times to indicate we needed refills, she would nod and then look the other way. Normally, I would just stand up and ask someone else, but by this point after glancing across the restaurant, I could tell we were not the only table frustrated by the lack of attention received by their server. I worked in the food industry during all of high school and college, so I know there are bad and busy nights, but this was not an out of control situation. We never even received our check and had to walk up and ask for it. At this point the other server asked why I didn’t have my check and I replied, «I don’t know, our server has not been to our table in a very long time.» There was no apology, no offer to remedy the situation, and our server was right behind her and heard the comment. A lot of people, may decide at this point to not leave a tip, I am not that kind of person. I may still leave a tip because it is the right thing to do for someone not even making minimum wage, but it doesn’t mean I am returning to this Waffle House again.

Évaluation du lieu : 3 Springboro, OH
The stereotypical Waffle House; friendly staff, good location. Seems like everyone in Springboro heading for I-75 commuting to work drives through the Tim Horton’s for breakfast. I’m happy to see Waffle House open, but they’re on the wrong side of the street for that traffic. They just opened so the staff is apprehensive and the cook is slow(reason for 3 stars today), but give them a chance to get in the groove. breakfast melt sammies and peanut butter waffles taste like they should.
