The claims on the sign are largely true. El Ranchito is every kind of «ria» that a mercado can be: carniceria (butcher), tortillaria, fruiteria, and panaderia (bakery). So, they have a butcher and a baker, but, Mercado Mama, you ask, «Do they have a candle-stick maker?» They sure as H-E-Double Hockey Sticks do. In fact, if you have any problem ranging from financial difficulties to lameness in your barnyard animals, one of these saints will fix it – or die trying.
