Food was mediocre at best, the cheese sauce just tasted like salt. The service was absolutely horrendous and the entire restaurant was filthy. I pass through Springdale regularly but I will definitely NOT be going back to Las Palmas.

Just went for some drinks at the bar and the level of service was amazing. We weren’t able to stay long, but the food looked great.

I love the fajitas and quesadita. That was my first time ever in my life trying Mexican food and I was not disappointed! It’s affordable too! Friendly service!

Very disappointed. I ordered the chicken burrito, something I had many times. Tonight it was cold and flavorless. Waitress had a no care attitude. Hostess was the only bright spot on this visit. Will be a while before I muster the want to go back

The margaritas are huge and delicious! We have got the fajitas more than once and they are always extremely good. Very friendly staff and welcoming. We will continue to go back for some good tex-mex and drinks!

There was one non-chain Mexican restaurant in Springdale when I was a kid and it was called Casa Montez. Mexican restaurants are abundant these days and with so many from which to choose one can now afford to be more selective. I think this restaurant does a pretty good job and beats out those that surround it(El Tequilazo, La Azteca, Frutas Y Verduras, etc.). I have only visited this restaurant for the lunch hour, not dinner. I can’t say I have ever walked away feeling like I had terrific service and I am glad to see that some other Unilocal reviewers had good things to say about their waiters. I have gone back to this restaurant several times and that is the best compliment I can give. NWA History Lesson — This building was built as a Minute Man Restaurant. That was an Arkansas-based hamburger chain and if you’re interested you can read more about it at the the Encyclopedia of Arkansas web site page for the old Minute Man restaurant chain: There was also a couple of Minute Man restaurants in Fayetteville as well. I used to get the Hickory Burger and Radar Pie — what a memory! I also remember this building housing a place called«Maid Rite» after the Minute Man restaurant closed. Maid-Rite is one of those«loose meat» sandwich shops(think sitcom«Roseanne»).

The combination chicken and steak fajitas were wonderful at my last 2 visits. This visit, I had a fajita quesadilla with spinach and mushrooms – no problem adding the spinach and mushrooms, just ask! Margaritas are large and delish, not overly tangy/sweet from too much mix. Love the owners!

Decent food for the area. Visited from NYC and stopped here on the way to XNA. Fast service. Solid, cheap food.

The cheese enchiladas and soft cheese taco were lukewarm with congealed cheese interiors. The margarita was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. Service indifferent and difficult to order anything that varied from the menu. The fajitas for the group sharing the room with us created massive burned-smelling smoke that took over the room. Not just steam and food smell — seriously like a grease fire. It chased us out of the restaurant and lingered in our car and on our clothes long after. What a yucky experience.

I’ve been once to the west Springdale Location, and I doubt I will be going back. Being from South Texas, Mexican restaurants in Northwest Arkansas face a stacked deck with me as it is. But i have had better. Try La Huerta instead..

Great Mexican food. The chips and salsa are top notch, good cheese dip, and the best Carne Asada Tacos in Northwest Arkansas. There are many fine Mexican places in Northwest Arkansas but I think these guys are the best. They bring out the fajitas and dump them on the hot cast iron pan and it is like a symphony of delicious.

Several places of disrepair. Restroom particularly bad. Hole in door, water on the floor, no paper towels(or air dryer). Waitress more interested in visiting with friends than taking care of customers.

This restaurant makes you feel like you’re on holiday… especially if you enjoy your meal in the verandah on a sunny day. The food is very good. Service is great. For starters we got drinks, chips’n’salsa, and a platter of tortilla chips covered in refried beans, cheese, jalapenos, tomatoes, and cilantro… the later two being on the house. The draft beers were 99cents… so we had a few of those with our meal. You get a lot of food at a reasonable price with great friendly service.
