Ozark Regional Transit is northwest Arkansas’s public transportation system. ORT has friendly, helpful drivers and comfortable buses that get you where you need to go. ORT provides great service for passengers, including bike racks for cyclists, and assistance for wheelchair users and others with mobility impairments. Right now, ORT has limited routes because the agency’s funding is way below what is needed for this area. A proposed ¼-​cent sales tax to fund expanded routes and more-​frequent service will be on the ballot in Washington County on May 22, 2012. Please support transportation alternatives in northwest Arkansas!
