It’s my first visit to Utah in a small town called Springdale. For a city gal, I find it really cute that they have these small stores all aligned on the main street of Zion Blvd. They all seem to have that bell attached to their front door which chimmed each time it is opened. I think that’s also so cute:) As if discovering home made fudge at the coffee house/ice cream, sorbet /gift store prior to arriving here wasn’t enough sweets for Chel, here I am. One section had their ice cream selection. Next to it was more selection of tastey sweets which some were home made. But I wanted some chocolate. Specifically pecan with milk chocolate and caramel with milk chocolate. These are my all time favorite and if they were available, they werethe ones who would get devoured first. And right away I saw them! T a d a a !!! So good. Yum. Had a good bite as I first put it in my mouth and then that milk chocolate just melts as soon as it hits the warmth of my tongue and then all that gooey caramel just makes it oh saweet! =) She made me taste one. After that one, a dozen was packed away for me! The loot bag included my pecan milk chocolates, caramel milk chocolates, salt water taffy caramel swirl, a bag of coffee latte, and expresso candy. Unfortunately, they no longer have sugar free salt water taffy for my Belle B’s Okasan. Loved. Loved. Loved it all. #thankful

Very nice people. Sweet and cute little shop. They have interesting treats like chocolate covered ginger. My favorite was the chocolate covered twinkies! The prices tho are wayyyy crazy high. I guess its to be expected here in zion. Defiantly worth the visit tho.

We stopped into Springdale Candy Company for a late night ice cream fix. The ice cream was great, and the service was friendly. We were able to sample pretty much everything in the case, and it was all wonderful. Their espresso ice cream(made with beans from Deep Creek Coffee across the street) was some of the most flavorful coffee-flavored ice cream I’ve ever tried.

Really nice woman-they close at 8PM, and we didn’t know-we saw the light on and walked in at 8:02. She served us with a smile, and didn’t seem frustrated at all with us. The ice cream here was great, and the chocolate was really good. I’d definitely return here again. Selection was great, and portions of ice cream are very generous.

This is definitely any kids’ and adults’ dream! This place offers a variety of candies, some pastries, and ice cream!!! Yes, they have the candy that I used to eat when I was a kid. No way!!! Hmm… only if… we decided to get ice cream instead! Yum yum! Yes, they had the usual flavors! Chocolate on a cone! It definitely was a sweet moment!!!

HUGE selection of Candy and bottled sodas. My wife and I had ice cream. I had the Sundae with the espresso ice cream and it was bomb! The lady who helped us was the best and she gives you the option of exactly what toppings you want. I loved the chocolate they used, it’s the chocolate they use for their candy and it makes a hard shell around the ice cream, tastes great! Perfect service and a great store to walk into. Be warned, if you have a sweet tooth, you might not walk out alive. Will absolutely be back for another sundae.

Definitely recommend this place, we got a half scoop of wild huckleberry and half scoop chocolate brownie and it was enough for 2 people! Single scoop $ 2.50. They accept credit cards too. We went around closing time so didn’t get to spend too much time in there but we got a bag of chocolate covered gummy bears $ 9.95/lb and tried a chocolate covered cinnamon gummy bear. Very cinnamony! Very friendly service Cute little shop along the road. Get some chocolate covered gummy bears for your trip into Zion!

After 3 nights of camping and hiking Emerald pool, Angels landing and The Narrows we decided to award ourselves with ice cream and candy. What a treat after a hike! We initially wanted ice cream and was going to go to the ice cream window at The Lodge but I saw the Unilocal reviews on this place and we decided to come here. We were in town returning our narrows gear. Many ice cream flavor options and they sure are generous! They pack on the ice cream! Secret: it’s better to get one scoop but ask for half and half! It’s almost as much as 2 scoops! I got the huckleberry and the moose tracks. Both very very delicious! It wasn’t too sweet but had great flavors. I don’t know if they make their own ice cream but it was rich and creamy. We also got some chocolate pieces. They make their chocolate pieces there at the window. I only wish they had rocky road(didn’t see it) but I got the marshmallow, macadamia chocolate and coconut chocolate… All very tasty. Treat yourself to ice cream after sweating and hiking the narrows or Angels landing! You won’t regret eating this ice cream!

Cute little sweets shop right in the middle of what I call the downtown of Zion, about half a mile from visitor parking at the base. At first, I thought they wouldn’t have a ton of variety because it isn’t a huge candy shop. But they had everything I needed and a good amount of different haribo candies. We opted for some ice cream as well because who wouldn’t on a hot day when your parched from your outdoorsing? The people are super friendly as well!

The frozen banana was the most delicious thing to ever pass my lips. OMG. The chocolate was seriously gorgeous. I’m just sorry I was too full from lunch to eat most of it and had to give it to my husband who thoroughly enjoyed it. The chocolates we bought were absolutely divine and the taffy’s were creative and yummy. A great pit stop!

You just can’t visit Zion with ending a glorious day with ice cream. Moose tracks is awesome. Interesting to watch the owners making delectable chocolates.

This place was open at 10pm(even though the hours on Unilocal were different). There was a long line of people waiting for their ice creams on a hot summer night. We stood in line patiently while a large group ahead of us ordered complicated milk shakes. As the ljne behind us grew longer and longer I thought that the owners who were serving would get flustered and get stressed, but they were pleasant, smiling and ever so friendly! Oh, yes, the ice cream flavors were great too! Large serving sizes too!

It’s a cute place that looks like the typical tourist/vacation spot full of candy and other sweet treats. Ice cream comes from the Utah based Farr Better Ice Cream company. Most are fairly standard flavors. My kid always gets mint chocolate chip and he wasn’t disappointed. I had«Brownies on the moon» which was a creamy chocolate ice cream with chunks of fudgey, soft brownies. It was an excellent way to cool down from the heat. 3.5 Stars

Had a craving for some ice cream and came here on a rainy afternoon. The shop is pretty small with no indoor seating. Only outdoor seating. We settled for a cup of coffee ice cream and the ice cream that had the word moon it in. Basically, it is chocolate ice cream with marshmallows in it. I liked the coffee ice cream but the other one was eh. The workers here are really friendly and nice. Appears that they may be the owners.

My friends and I decided we wanted ice cream on Sunday morning before leaving Zion. This looked like a cute little shop that had homemade desserts and I like supporting small town businesses, so I decided to go here instead of other places. We walked in and were greeted immediately. Then I saw a great selection of chocolates, taffy, and other sweets. Uh oh, I thought, this was a mistake because I might just buy the whole store since I have such a sweet tooth. I resisted temptation and went straight to the ice cream. I chose huckleberry in a cup and told my friend to get moose tracks. Another friend got mint. All were delicious and you won’t find some of these flavors at just any shop. I really liked the huckleberry, but I liked the moose tracks even more. I guess it depends on whether you want something fruity or chocolate-y. I’m from SoCal and we have lots of ice cream shops, but they aren’t like this small town shop with such flavors and quality. I felt like I was in Oregon or something. Stop by and check it out! I’m pretty sure you’ll find something you like.

Great candy store, fresh chocolates made right in the store. Kim was dipping some twinkies in chocolate when we arrived. While we waited for a milk chocolate covered twinkie, Matt had a nice chat with Dave about engineering. We also got a chocolate covered marshmallow, a macadamia and coconut thing with dark chocolate and an almond cluster. Everything was so yummy! Kim was telling me that they will soon be making their own ice creams as well! The machine is on the way :) They have a nice selection of truffles, chocolate dipped cookies and fruit. They also have gummies, licorice, jelly beans etc. So many wonderful fresh chocolates to choose from, I was really hoping to get some for the drive back to Vegas but they will be closed for the remainder of our trip, huge bummer :(

Small town candy shop with a wide variety of sugary goodness? Yep, we’ll stop in! We were taken care of by a super nice employee(part owner?) — I got a couple of pieces of chocolate and caramels and chocolate covered so and sos and they were all delicious. Really, you can’t go wrong. You pay by the pound, so choose as many or as little as you’d like. The wife got taffy — a mixed bag for about $ 3.40. I still don’t understand who likes licorice? A little less than half the bag was licorice flavored. We tossed those because… well they were licorice. The rest however — had some pretty awesome flavor to them. It was fun trying to guess what was what — then popping it in your mouth to confirm. All around this is a great spot to stop and get some homemade sweets.

Wish they had more flavors of ice cream, but the existing selection will satisfy most. It’s tough to give an ice cream shop less than four stars, but it’s also tough to give them more. So why this one? Because I’ve never had anybody do what the girl behind the counter did here… When you order a waffle cone(and you shouldn’t eat ice cream with anything else unless you’re some kind of sick pervert), you always have to hope that some of the ice cream has melted just enough to fill up the very tip of the cone without actually being so runny that it drips out of the end. Nothing worse than waiting to bite into that last, delicious bit of waffle cone only to find that it is hollow. At Springdale Candy Company, the girl actually took a tiny bit of ice cream, shoved it down into the cone, took a slightly larger bit of ice cream to push down even further, and repeated again with an even larger bit. This was all BEFORE actually scooping up my ice cream. The result was a perfectly-packed cone. Never had that anywhere ever. Five stars for that alone.

I love this little sweet tooth place in the middle of town. Ice Cream, Shakes and Coffee Drinks, Chocolates galore… from truffles, Nut variations to caramel and all house made. Classic candy too… lemon heads and other sweet tarts. I think the Jelly bean collection had me though… every flavor! Jaw Breakers bigger than your mouth ;p They even had this interesting crystal rock candy. It’s a small place with outdoor seating only.
