The mexican pizza was about 12″ in diameter. It was quite tasty and an awesome high calorie meal after a long exhausting day at Zion. Filled me right up. There is also a small shop that’s connected and a perfect place to get some souvenirs!

One of the absolute best places to eat in Springdale. Every time I’ve been there, the food has been fairly priced, always tastes fnatsdtix, and the staff is absolutely amazing. There are few places that I’ll travel to eat at, but this place is definitely on my list.

You see those posts with the goat cheese chile rellano? It is legit. I was glad we ordered it. I loved it. The rest of the meal was not great. I got a taco salad. It was decent, but it didn’t have anything to it except meat, some beans, lettuce, tomato, and a tortilla. There may have been canned black olives in there. But there was no cheese, no sour cream, no avocado. No real flavor. The lady got a smothered burrito, which had the potential to be amazing. but they used f — ing deli chicken. Sliced deli meat chicken in the burrito. That is ridiculous. Service was decent. The guy was nice, but obviously overwhelmed as they had to turn people away when the place was full and they had to move us to a smaller table.

Loved the spaghetti squash enchiladas! The calamari were really nice, too! Great starter to share. The carne asada tacos were super nice! The meat was very well seasoned and very juicy. Service was great and super friendly. Their local beer selection is worth a try!

Zion is a popular destination for nature lovers. Cool thing about this park is its location and proximity to the town where you not only find variety in terms of the different cuisine available, but also excellent quality of food. This particular restaurant is a crown jewel amongst the rest. We went for lunch and sat outside and enjoyed the majestic Zion mountains. Everything we ate here was delicious, made to perfection and was presented beautifully. The smallness of the restaurant may fool you but the efficient friendly service will make u wish this restaurant was in your neighborhood. A special mention has to be made of their gaucamole with pomegranates and their homemade chips. The squash enchilada is highly recommended for good reason, we also got the chicken enchilada and were in perfect balance with respect to flavors. They serve a nice refreshing salad made of a red pepper dressing which complimented the dishes well. Writing this review makes me want to go back to Zion. will b back to whip tail whenever we head back to Zion

This place is alright. We stumbled upon here, because it was right where we got parking, as well as right in front of the shuttle stop. There is a souvenir shop next to it. The food we got was not bad. The guacamole was quite nice. The fish in the fish tacos were a little over cooked. The prices are reasonable. The bathroom is for patrons only, to use it, ask for the key.

This restaurant did not disappoint. Between myself as my friends we had the fire Asada tacos, tofu salad, spaghetti squash enchiladas, bacon bleu burger, and prawn tacos. Not one of us was disappointed with our dish. The food was exceptional and the service was quick and friendly. Add the spectacular views when you’re sitting outside on a warm summer day with a cold brew along with great company, and you’ll get a feeling of what life ought to be truly all about. We’ll definitely return on our next trip to Southern.

They ran out of chips when we arrived(they make homemade chips) so we just ordered a side of guac and it was awesome. I enjoyed their calamari fritti which was soft inside and crispy outside. Went well with the sauce! The shrimp tacos were excellent as well. Definitely recommend!

This place is cute and has great food. And it’s open late in an early town. We had the Rellanos, chicken enchilada and shrimp tacos. I’d recommend this place if you and checking out Zion.

Nice little diner/café environment, not busy, and great food!!! I stopped here on my way through Zion National Park and the employees welcomed us and served us right away. Whiptail Grill has Mexican/American items on their menu such as tacos, salads, and burgers. I got the blue cheese with bacon and it was amazingly fresh. I definitely would recommend this place to eat if you’re passing through. Oh yeah once you walk in, you’ll be able to see their Trip Advisor Awards too!!! P. S. I was stoned as well :)

A must-visit before or after you visit Zion. I ordered the chipotle chicken enchiladas and couldn’t have been more pleased with them. The side salad it came with had a simple dressing that was a great addition to the dish. If you’ve ever had the chicken enchilada suiza Lean Cuisine, this is like that, but taken up forty levels. The chips and salsa are also worth ordering at Whiptail — the salsa is like a homemade version of Tostitos salsa. That sounds like a bad thing, but trust me, it’s not: it’s just the best comparison I can come up with right now. The chips are also apparently made up at Whiptail — thin, crispy, and lightly salted. Not to mention the basket you get is a nice size for the price. It’s definitely an appetizer worth getting. My girlfriend and her mom both opted to get the spaghetti squash enchiladas. Being all carnivorous and whatnot, I preferred my chipotle chicken ones, but I can confirm that the spaghetti squash enchiladas are delicious and one of the very best vegetarian dishes I’ve ever eaten. Whiptail’s prices are slightly high, but you definitely get what you pay for. My only miff with Whiptail is that it’s slightly tight on the inside, but what would you expect from a gas station turned restaurant? This place is just fantastic… most definitely worth a stop.

Dinner for two on a cloudy night 8PM. Overall the service was terrible(partly due do a quick rainstorm that passed over the outdoor seating area), but also due to hostess that could’t handle ‘handoffs’ to wait staff, and overworked waitstaff(they needed a third waiter). Didn’t receive any water, drinks or menus or anything for 25 minutes AFTER we were seated! View is spectacular(all Views in Springdale are great), bus service stops right outside. Food was terrific(portions large as well). ½ rack of ribs was quite tasty(they sauce quite a bit — you might ask for sauce on the side to control overpowering the meal). A few wine selections and quite a number of beer selections on the menu. Internet and phone connections were generally flakey around Zion, but had 11Mbps download speed(long 500ms ping time though) on their local wifi.

Springdale is a cute town and a great place to relax after a day of hiking in Zion NP. Ummm the goat cheese chili relleno is absolutely mind blowing five star! The chili is perfect, the crunchiness is orgasmic on the outside with lots of warm cheesy center and the diced pickle and salsa on the side is a perfect compliment! This is a must try dish! Have had this dish before at other restaurants and this place really does an amazing job! The ribs are very good, as in meat falling off the bone but for our taste too much BBQ sauce. The side salad with a light ginger dressing is very good. Comes with black beans but it’s just alright. The Sesame Tofu is… unique. I mean the texture is perfect not too firm not soft. The sauce is quite gingery so make sure you like ginger. The picked cucumbers are really good on the side. Sitting outside watching the sun go down, with unique and flavorful food and having good service is a wonderful way to end a day in a place that is spiritual on many levels. Eat to live, but live to experience life! Aaron

The food has tons of flavors. We love what we had stuffed green chiles, taco salad and burrito with green sauce. I wish they have more selections on their menus. I found the food a little pricey. They are quick eat entrees e.g. burrito, taco, burger and etc and they are all $ 16. I guess that’s how it is in the tourist spot.

On my third visit we brought friends along to enjoy the view, the chile rellenos, the spaghetti squash enchiladas, the beers, chilled wine, and friendly servers, who this visit moved us closer to an outdoor heater as the evening cooled down and the southwest stars popped out over the redrock spires. The added bonus was a spectacular chocolate habanero crème brûlée, with just the right amount of heat to offset the chocolaty goodness.

This was probably the best restaurant we visited in Zion… food wise. As for the food, it was probably a 5. Excellent tacos. Great guac and salsa for the chips. Good beer selection too. This is where it goes downhill. First off… the price was pretty high for the tacos, but I’ll live with it as it’s a touristy area. My biggest gripe was the service. They clearly were not equipped for a busy night. They had 2 guys running the tables and 1 woman acting as a hostess and a waitress. All of this for about 30 tables in the patio area. It was just too much for them to handle. Consequently it took us about 15 minutes to get our drink order in, another 10 for our food order, and almost 45 min for the food to come out. The woman was also a bit rude when we tried to flag her down and ask a question about the menu. Maybe it was an off night, who knows. I would probably return because the food does trump the service.

The inside looks a bit tiny, but there are plenty of tables outside to take in Zions breathtaking views during the day and they have a heaters to keep you warm at night. We showed up a bit late. maybe 30 min before closing. but we were not rushed at all and received wonderful service! We started with with the salsa and guacamole to share. Guac was extremely fresh and had big chucks of avocado in it. I ordered the chile relleno and it was seriously the best I’ve ever had! I got it with beef tenderloin — which was tender and well seasoned. I think what put it over the top for me was the creamy melted goat cheese and panko bread crumbs. It’s listed on the starters page, but is definitely big enough to fill you up like an entrée would especially if you add a protein like beef tenderloin or shrimp. I highly recommend it!

We came here after a day of hiking at Zion like most people. We ordered the grilled prawn tacos and fish tacos. We also got guac with the chips and salsa, which were all delicious! Both tacos were good, but I have to say my friend’s fish taco was better than my prawn taco. Only the fish taco came with the much hyped grape salsa. Nevertheless, we were very satisfied with our meals and also the great service. I didn’t expect this quality of food out of a converted gas station in Springdale. Probably one of the better options in the area! PS — the listing says no WiFi, but there actually was WiFi here :)

Superb. After not being able to go the last few times I was in Springdale, I finally got the chance the Friday after Thanksgiving. With I few minor mishaps, we had an incredible meal and left satisfied. I got there early and convinced the other 4 of my party to try. Got my order in for the Sante Fe Chicken sandwich and a stout. It was a little cold out that night, so I situated us between heaters to keep warm. The rest of my party showed up and they decided on their order. 2 Sante Fe Chicken sandwiches, Spaghetti Squash enchiladas, and fish tacos. That’s when the mishaps occurred. No more buns, so the sandwiches were out. Substituted with the chili relenno and a burrito. Then, one of the employees decided to start moving the heater without even saying anything. She had attitude and I think she wanted to leave. But still, no excuse for being rude. Our waiter, on the other hand, was very accomodating. Everything turned around with the delivery of the meal, however. Food was excellent across the board, though my son wouldn’t recommend the fish tacos(I didn’t think he should have picked them to begin with). The enchiladas were incredible, the burrito tasty, the chili relenno awesome(check out my picture), and MY Sante Fe Chicken sandwich was good(they had buns when I ordered). To top it off, they honored the lower price of the sandwiches for the burrito and the chili relenno. Everyone left with smiles. My picky group was pleased. Recommended.

Lecker. ;-) …
