First off, the theater and screen are huge. This is a great place to watch any movie. Now, as for the daily«Zion, Treasure Of The Gods» — watch this with a bit of skepticism for the liberties they take. All of the birds are breathtaking, but misleading. There are scenes from Monument Valley, not even in Utah! Add scenes from Bryce Canyon and Grand Canyon and you will have people not familiar with the area wondering how to get to those vistas in Zion. To make matters worse they show cliff dwellings of the Anasazi, I’m pretty sure they don’t exist inside Zion– and to top it all off they show a young native girl hunting with a boomerang!

We saw a Zion film and a feature film at this theater, and although the Zion film was a bit cheesy, the theater was great. Uncrowded. Friendly staff, clean theater, big screen although certainly not an IMAX.

This is a cool movie theater — the screen is among the largest in the world. It was really fun to watch something with action as it felt like the story was enveloping you. Tons of seats, I can’t imagine it ever completely fills up — just the middle section seemed to populate quickly. Employees were your average don’t really care, this is a part-time job variety, but hey — at least there is nothing skilled you need them for! :-)

Surprised at how large the screen is here… after all, it is called a Giant Screen Theatre. Ended up watching The Hunger Games– Catching Fire here during opening weekend. There wasn’t a HUGE crowd but just enough people to fill up the middle section of the theatre. I forgot the dimensions of the screen(but one of the workers did explain it right before the movie started). My friend mentioned that the resolution wasn’t as sharp being that big, but I didn’t notice. For the movie, it was only $ 10,(nowadays, I think tickets are about $ 12). For two large drinks, a large popcorn, and candy… we only had to pay about $ 13. You simply don’t see those prices anymore. My only suggestion for this theatre is to have a middle aisle so people can get to the restroom easily– the rows are so long that if you end up having to get out your seat, you’ll have to say excuse me to quite a bit of people.

Very friendly staff, I suggest being early so you can look at the shops and scenery surrounding the theater!

The 40-minute film is just mediocre. Consider the price @ $ 8, the IMAX effect is not good enough. You can go into Zion National Park and watch the 22-minute film in the Natural Museum. It’s free and more informative. Skip this !

Took in the IMAX film, «Valley of the Gods» after receiving free tickets during our stay at the Cable Mountain Lodge. The movie started without any sound and took a few minutes to correct the problem. They started it over again after corrections were made. The theater is very nice and not what you would expect in a small town. The IMAX experience both visually and audibly was in full effect. As for the movie, I am glad that my tickets were free. It does not offer much in the way of information about the park.

I came here and watched the Valley of the Gods Imax movie. it was a great way to get introduced to the park and see some of the amazing parts of the park that I would never be able to get to. I highly recommend paying the $ 7 to see this movie.
