In Cincinnati so stopped by for a bite. I had the Mazorca con pollo y tocineta which was basically corn«off the cob» mixed with shredded chicken, bacon and cheese. It had these little dried potato sticks on it that the menu referred to as potato chips. I thought the serving looked small but was surprised that it filled me up. Some members of my party are fluent in Spanish and the waiter was very generous with his time when they asked him about the menu in his native language. Probably a great place to watch the World Cup as soccer was on several tv screens.

So good! My husband is Mexican and it’s hard to get him to try new food. Although he was slightly distraught over the lack of tortillas, which I kindly explained they don’t eat, he still loved the food. As do I! We even learned a few new words! Oh, and if you get to try the fried plantains. dear god do it! It’s like banana bacon. It’s so good. I can’t recreate it at home!

My goodness is this hidden gem the most delightful find! Food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and prices cannot be beat. I have only done take-away so far. The ordering/pickup process was easy and painless. I can’t wait to go back!

I wanted to try something different and the menu items caught my eye. We had breakfast — Bandeja Paisa for me. Very flavorful with many different textures and flavors. I wasn’t asked how I wanted the egg cooked — I like over medium it was cooked all well. Other than that a very tasty dish. Try it for a change of pace.

I’m a big fan. Four of us had an early dinner on a Sunday and there were only a few other customers. The service was great; very attentive and very knowledgeable. We each has several questions about how dishes were cooked, portioned, and eaten, and our server politely answered everything in an educated way. The interior decorations are interesting. They’re not too fancy but engaging to look at, but not distracting either. The food was fantastic. The Mazorca Desgranada was different and delicious. The Bandeja Paisa was also delicious and filling. We had several Arepas and they were also very good and flavorful. I would strongly recommend Zona Vip to friends.

Buena comida. Disfruté mucho el agua de guanábana. Otro plus es la música. Muy recomendable

All of it was DELICIOSO!(Delicious) Went here for lunch w coworkers. 2 of us having lived in Puerto Rico for 10yrs+ were very familiar w Columbian food. I tried the Maracuya(passion fruit) fresh fruit juice.- no joke– It’s darn fresh! Food Started w/Arepas de Pollo(chkn) & Chorizo Arepas– Amazing! Then we shared the«Bandeja Paisa» between 3. It was excellent; very generous portion and every item on the plate was right out of the kitchen. The service was a little slower than we desired for a working lunch but Totally worth the wait! You also get the value. Will definitely be back and suggest to others.

Holy amazing, authentic, and cheap. This family owned place was a great find. They have an adventurous Colombian menu that also has some twists on familiar dishes(Hot Dogs and Hamburgers). We were the only ones that placed our order in English, always a good sign at an ethnic restaurant. We went with the servers recommendations and they were awesome. We had a Chicken and Bacon Arepa and the Tipico Empanada. Both were good but it was the Bandeja Paisa that stole the show. A traditional dish with Chicarones, Pinto beans, ground beef, rice, Egg, plantains, and avocado. Wow. Awesome favors. The pinto beans and the Chicarones were my favorite part. We will be back to explore more of the menu!

This little hole in the wall place is exactly what I look for when seeking an authentic ethnic experience. It is clearly a family operation as we saw grandma having a bit of fresh air sitting on a chair out front. We were the only ones who ordered in English and the other tables all knew what they wanted without even looking at the menu. The food was delicious and came our hot and fresh!!! Soccer was on the TVs and it definitely adds to the atmosphere along with the Colombian flags. I wish we had not been in such a hurry and had taken a bit more time to eat slower and more. The Arepas were AMAZING and the empanada was definitely something different. I have never had one with an egg in it before.
