Adams Limo and Car Service

They were incredibly friendly and quick to schedule a car for me. And I suspect if I had not had to cancel I would have been writing a very different review. Unfortunately I had to cancel 10 minutes before the pickup time due to a complete change in schedule (out of my control). So why not a higher rating? The issue I have is this; I booked my car 1 ½ hours before the pickup time. The cancellation policy states that you pay 100% of the fare if canceling within 2 hours. That is a completely fair policy however given that I was booking my car within 2 hours I should have been made aware of the policy over the phone. I would then have had the choice to say ‘I agree to those terms please go ahead and book’ or ‘I will find another method of transportation this time that allows more flexibility’. I completely understand having to pay a cancellation fee and do not dispute that, even the amount (which was very high) would have been ok if when I was speaking to them to book my car they had shared the terms and conditions before it was too late. For this reason I will not use them again and to Adam’s Limo and Car Service, I suggest that when you have people booking your service within the 12 and 2 hour windows in your cancellation policy, you simply inform them of your terms before you confirm the booking! That way if I had said book anyway and then cancelled I would have thought ‘fair enough’ and probably would have used you again.
