Ask for Shane in the meat department. Amazing gentleman willing to help make great cuts. Communicates effectively, educates, and goes above and beyond.

There have been a decline in service over the years at this particular location. You can visibly see and sense that they’re operating on a slim budget given the skeleton crews they seem to always have on duty. Everything is well stocked and the main store is clean. Thankfully we’re moving away from returning bottles at grocery stores because their bottle return room is disgusting. There are times you stick to the floor. This was never a problem for years but given their cutbacks, you can see which details went first. The staff has turned apathetic over the years, I assume also from the decline in the work conditions. I do like that Albertson’s as a whole got rid of their club cards and have lowered their prices. At least they aren’t charging asinine prices in a deteriating store.

Stopped in to grab supplies for a cookout, and when I picked up a pack of steaks, I saw discolored, rancid brown meat. I informed the kid behind the meat counter, but in hindsight I should’ve stuck around to make sure she didn’t just put it back on the shelf. I kept looking and saw more bad meat – stuff that anyone can see had turned. I was shocked, which made their prices all the more baffling. After deciding to get my steaks and burgers elsewhere, I checked out the beer selection and saw a bunch of bottles and packs that had run out – I stepped into the walk-in cooler they have for the cheaper brands to see if they did have it and just didn’t bother to stock, and saw two cases laying on the floor, which had clearly fallen – a big puddle of beer that smelled like it was out for a while. I shook my head, put my things back, and left.
