SEEHERSTORYBELOW. This company is a nightmare!!!: «It’s been 9 months since my wedding and Allure Photographic in Springfield, NE, specifically the owner Lani Bresler has done the ‘mickey-mouse’ game of not getting back to us regarding the loss of 25% of our wedding photos(307 images) that included the most important photos — i.e. my husband and I’s ‘first-look’ photos as well as ALL of our family pictures! We had paid her in full for her services prior to the wedding and she was expected to have the proofs of all our wedding pictures to us within 4 – 6 weeks of our wedding that was held on August 3, 2013. The initial CD of photos wasn’t made available to us until October 24, 2013 after several voicemails and text messages. After this photo CD was received, I noticed there were several pictures missing, which included all bride/groom solos and all family pictures as mentioned above. Considering the irrationality of her proposed solution — ‘to reschedule with family members and photo-shop in anyone who is unable to make the photo shoot’, with little to no monetary reimbursement was simply a slap in the face! We had nothing to give out over the holidays and now we’re trying to figure out how to get all our family back together — i.e. brother in CA along with a sister and family in the country of Mexico, as well as my father who recently had heart surgery and cannot travel for awhile! We’ve heard all the excuses under the sun with Lani and not getting back to us. We even stopped at her shop on main street of Springfield, NE(new location) to confront her, but was unable since she wasn’t there(surprise)! However, we learned many things from neighboring businesses as to how several other customers have been in their shops complaining of the same issues with Lani — not getting back to them with their photo issues. How does someone like this continue doing business!?? You put all your faith and confidence in a professional to ensure your very special day is caught on film. I understand technology issues can happen, but the customer service part is how to make up for those technological glitches. This is where Lani and Allure Photographic completely failed! I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy on this woman and her pathetic style of business! She took all our money up-front and had no compassion for us since the wedding — just very shallow comments that held no weight! For any bride out there looking for a photographer, don’t let Lani’s initial cutesy approach fool you… SHE’S A PHONY and has no concern for your special day — that’s been VERY evident in my past 9 months of experience with her! We’ve been very patient with this vendor over the past 9 months considering she has failed in several ways to come up with a timely and reasonable solution to our missing pictures. The latest with her was this past March when she received a full refund check from the trust that insures pathetic photographers like Allure Photographic in Springfield, NE! My husband and I as well as this photographer signed an official contract that stated she agreed to refund us the full contract price while we agreed to not ransack her name to the public. According to the bylaws of the trust, the photographer is to reissue a check directly to us upon receipt. Yep, how crazy is that?(It’s like putting a child behind the wheel to drive!) She cashed the check, but has not passed along a new check to us for the full refund. This is even after several attempts made by the law firm involved with this whole thing. I’m at my witt’s end and am furious as to how someone like this can get away with this! We’re looking into further avenues to take as this nightmare of a human will NOT get the best of us. This is now based on principle more than anything! Her blatant lack of action/respect for our feelings towards the most important day of our lives is an obvious sign of how poorly she runs her business and treats her customers. Please share this horrible business with everyone you know and tell them to BEWARE of Lani Bresler — Allure Photographic in Springfield, NE!!»

CAUTION… BEWARE! NEGLIGENT and HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE! Please share this with everyone you know, esp. new brides-to-be so they don’t have to experience what we’ve been through. I want to share an example of the WORST customer service I’ve experienced over the past 7 months with my wedding photographer — Allure Photographic located on mainstreet of Springfield, NE. Our wedding was this past August and we are still fighting with Allure Photographic to rectify the loss(‘technical glitch’) of over 307 images from our wedding day, which included ALL of our family pictures and the individual shots of myself and my husband(first-look photos, etc). The whole experience since our wedding has been a nightmare! The photographer finally got back to us in late October with a CD of our photos, but only after several email, voicemail, and text message attempts. I understand that processing pictures in order to ensure delivery of a quality product takes time. However, when we first received our CD of photos, I had to notify the photographer that all family and first-look photos of my husband and I were missing.(I have to also state how disappointed I was with the quality of the traditional photos she did provide to us on this CD — group pictures of the bridal party where people’s faces were hidden, younger males not facing the front/same direction as others, guy’s hands and feet not symmetrical with the other guys, and a 6 ft 10 in best man standing on a step, which totally throws off the symmetry and balance of the group pics. These are all obvious things that a competent photographer should look for!) She had no clue as to the 307 missing photos, but said she’d look into the matter. Another month or so went by without her responding to our emails, voicemails, or text messages, as to the status of her research into this matter. The only thing I’d hear from her was an excuse for not staying in touch with us — unexpected departure out of town, jury duty, several instances of a lost or non-working phone, lost email from Cox… you name it I heard it! When she finally identified the issue as being a ‘technical glitch’, her only resolution of the situation was to ‘clear her schedule’ around the holidays in order to retake our family pictures. First of all, after all the hassle we’d already been through, I’d never trust her to take any photos for me again. Secondly, my father had just gone through heart surgery in early December so he wouldn’t have been able to make the pictures according to her schedule over the holidays. Thirdly, my sister and her 2 girls that were in the wedding live in Mexico, which they can’t just jump on a plane at any moment! Lastly, my brother and his wife were under a no-travel status due to forced bed rest with her pregnancy. After explaining all of this to her, her response was ‘she could photo-shop in all family members that were missing’! Or she could give us an undetermined monetary discount on our bill or photo album. None of these options were reasonable to us, esp. considering her lack of respect, lack of professionalism, and negligence in keeping us posted on the status along the way. She didn’t treat us like a priority at all. In fact, several times she’d say she was busy with other clients, but ‘she hadn’t forgotten about us — we were still her top priority’! What small entrepreneur does that? Who treats people like this, esp. when it comes to such a very important day in our lives? We finally sent her a certified letter of our request to ‘recreate our day’ and to do the right thing for us — reimbursing us for some of the cost to at least recreate our family photos from that day — i.e. tux rentals for at least our immediate family, flowers, dress cleaning, church rental, hair/makeup, and some travel costs. For as much hassle she put us through and how strung out this whole situation has gone(7 months!!), and to salvage her reputation, this was the least she could do to make it right! BTW… it took her over a week to pick up the certified letter at the post office! I had to send her an email to remind her to pick up her mail! Is this how businesses are supposed to run? Is this how true customer service works? Similar delays in any type of response from this photographer continued through year-end with the last response in early January. The only recent correspondence has been with her insurance company trying to get this whole fiasco settled. Thanks for creating a VERY disappointing and sad experience for me every time I look at our formal wedding photos. After more research, I found several other brides via on-line reviews who’ve experienced the exact same nightmare with Allure Photographic, so don’t feel sorry for her! My advice is to stay away from Allure Photographic! Do your research of previous reviews on any photographer you choose to go with. The last thing you want is a lingering nightmare over the most important memories from your special day!
