My least favorite of the Springfield theaters, but it still gets the job done in the end. Our movie started 40 minutes after the scheduled time because the last showing«ran over.» As if the movie grows and shrinks between showings. A staff member said they would skip through the previews to account for the lost time. But I like the previews! They’re part of the theater experience, and they serve a good practical purpose. The theater still had time enough to show six(SIX!) AMC-branded ads before the movie started. A small arcade might’ve softened the blow and helped me pass the time, but this is the only Springfield AMC that doesn’t have an arcade.
