It’s now closed. The poor service killed it. It’s not hard to peddle mediocre food in Delco. But d***it, when I need a refill on my diet coke, I shouldn’t have to go across the street to Wawa. The first time ever I didn’t leave a tip. The Andy’s in Conshy is well run. I don’t get what happened.

Service was very slow. We could not even determine who our waitress was. When we finally ordered we still had to wait for drinks and when the order finally came it was either incorrect or incomplete. At this point we were totally frustrated and asked for the manager only to be told he was busy. At that point we did not even consume our food because nothing was right. The service was terrible and if I could give them a lower rating I would.

If I could give it no stars I would! I wanted breakfast the wife wanted lunch. We figured Andy’s was close enough and would be quick because we were in a hurry. Boy were we wrong! First sign as soon as we checked in the hostess told our waitress that she had a table. She shouted I’m busy can you get their drink order. We placed our drink order with the hostess and glanced over the menu. We made our decisions and waited about 5 mins when our waitress told another waitress to take our order. I could tell by the old woman behind us that we were in trouble when she kept sighing and looking at her watch shaking her head. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, which came with toast and hash browns. Lauren had a Ham & Cheese on a Croissant. Waited another 10 minutes food finally came, for a Sunday seemed a little long when there was only 5 other tables in here. Bacon was cooked to much and was all crumbled, the hash brown had no onions, no peppers, no parika, not even S&P, very bland, the toast was good though. Lauren only ate half her sandwich so I am guessing it was not very good. Now the long wait, never saw the waitress again, after 20 minutes I finally went to the counter and asked that my waitress bring my check. When she came I had my card ready cause I knew it could be forever to get it back. 10 more mins passed no sign of the waitress, so I went to the counter again, there was my card. She asked if I wanted to leave NOTIP! I have never done this before but you know what she didn’t do anything so I didn’t leave one! If you working for tips, you best Earn it! I hope management reads this and works out the kinks or a new staff! If you want a good breakfast please do NOTGOHERE! Go to the Springfield Diner, Penny’s, The Dairy Cottage, The Hungry A or the Breakfast Club!

Super slow and pretty expensive for bad food. My chicken pot pie was all veggies and barely any chicken. If you ever go, expect to wait a long time for food.

Andy’s Diner is our diner of choice for a quick meal and for breakfast. There is plenty of seating, and it has fewer patrons than the over-rated Springfield Diner, so there is never a wait to be seated. They have a large breakfast menu, which is typically what I order from. My favorite by far is the eggs Benedict. I am very picky about this dish, and so I was pleasantly surprised to find that this little diner has probably the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Their hollendaise sauce is to die for. A very very very close second is the french toast. Also, their homefries are buttery and delicious. The service is also very prompt here, which is nice, as sometimes I’ll come here for lunch with my boyfriend when I’m off during the week. He has an hour lunch break and works right down the street. He always had plenty of time to get there, order and eat, and get back to work in time. Andy’s is now the only diner I go to in the springfield area.

I love breakfast. In the morning or for dinner. That said, we’ve been going steadily to one particular diner since we got to the Philadelphia area, so we decided to try another one down the road, or up the road. Not sure what in relation to Philly. We were cheerfully greeted upon entering and seated. As we were deciding what to eat one of the waiters came by and told us about the breakfast buffet. It was about 12 noon so it sounded really good. Now, this place appears to be under new management and from the other reviews I read here, that seems to be the case. This diner is not the mirrored, neoned version of the diners I’ve grown up on in NYC, NJ and even here in PA, it’s more simply decorated, but all is clean and the service is friendly and attentive. Now for the food. The buffet selection was a little slim for the picking, but it was a little late for breakfast, so we may have just missed the rush. As soon as I brought it to the attention of the omelette cook, it was remedied, and fresh items were brought out. Sausages, bacon, oatmeal, cold cereals, pastries. Didn’t see any bread, but we weren’t really interested in that for now. The selection of ingredients for omelettes were extensive. Loads of veggies, cheeses and different types of meat. The resulting omelettes were huge and fluffy and cooked to perfection. Beverages are included in the price, and considering you can choosed from a variety of items, I think it’s an obvious choice over a fast food breakfast any day. It’s a pleasant atmosphere, we were treated nicely, and it was fun to listen to the locals that hang out there shoot the breeze and catch up on local gossip. Hopefully word will spread and they will stay open. I look forward to going back for another omelette.

They are open 24 hours so I thought it was worth a try for breakfast one early morning. Not! The eggs were powered!!! Giant Fail. The rest was fair. Nifties and the Springfield Diner blow this place away.

So this place is under new management. They are the same Andy’s Diner that are located in Trevose and Conshohocken, so the owners at least have a track record of running diners. I was turned off eventually by the old Liberty Diner, but for the love of trying new places I gave this diner a shot yesterday for breakfast. So I only know what they are serving for breakfast, not dinner. Based on my breakfast experience, I’m putting this place back in my good graces for now. The big selling point is that they have a breakfast buffet with a cook at an omelet station now. So for $ 10.95 you get freshly prepared omelets and unlimited breakfast choices with coffee and juice. The buffet is slightly deceptive to me. Breakfast buffets are hit or miss, and it’s so tough sometimes to make the food appetizing. I will say that despite appearances, some of the buffet offerings are actually pretty good. The sausage was very good, as proven by my wife who doesn’t eat much of it saying so herself. The french toast is also pretty good. The bacon is hit or miss. Some pieces were OK, some were soggy. That just seems to be par for the course for a buffet. But the omelets were the hit. The guy doing the cooking on Saturday made huge omelets. He does a great job back there, and is very friendly to boot. He didn’t skimp on the toppings, and will give you more if you request it. That was a winner. So they deserve a shot to win us over. They have some stiff competition nearby in a location that hasn’t had a lot of luck keeping places open(third diner here that I can remember in recent years). They also have a full menu besides the buffet offerings. I say have at it and let the future reviews decide.
