It’s a great place to stop by and gas up. They had a deal if you pay cash they give you 5c off now its gone. But they have the usual discount if you buy carwash. Although there carwash Isnt the best went there couple times and it doesn’t wash we’ll but its almost free if you gas up 8gal or more.

Was just there to gas up and get a car wash. Their car wash is broken, yet there are no signs posted at the pump. Of course like most people, I now just pay at the pump. When I pulled around, Noticed it was blocked off, so I went inside. Both cashiers said the same thing, It’s broke., but the code for carwash is good for 30 days. I mentioned no sign outside and that I wanted my $$ back for the car wash. NO can do. Then repeated about the code being good for 30 days. Well i bought it because I wanted my c ar washed today, and I don’t feel like making a special trip out of my way to get it washed another day. Circular argument, kept going round and round, So I left. Please beware when filling up here. I won’t ever fill up here again.

I am only writing this review to neutralize the nutty newspaper review. I like the Eagle Shop. It is clean and I have found the employees to be friendly. The biggest bonus of the Eagle Shop is… Diet Mountain Dew in the fountain! Yah, doesn’t take too much to make me happy!

Was just there this morning. I forgot to goto the bank, and had zero cash on me. I stopped in for a newspaper, swiped my debit card, and the thing said«waiting for cashier». It was explained to me that they don’t allow charges for under $ 1(not what the credit device said!) and that it «wouldn’t go thru». Rather than be extorted to purchase additional items or use some ATM with fees(which I didn’t notice — always a bad sign as bank ATMs are easy to spot, and those tiny ATMs are always sketchy and have high fees), I left and don’t plan on going back. Sure didn’t have any problems taking my money when I filled up my p/u gas tank the day before… Visa’s minimum purchase requirement doesn’t apply to debit transactions… and, really, couldn’t they do me a favor even if it did so I didn’t have to waste 15 minutes at lunch hour getting a paper elsewhere? Checked w/my bank, they never even accessed the VISA system when I swiped my card… scary. A typical overpriced, old fashioned penny pinching cstore that wouldn’t last a day in a town with real competition. Nothing special, and nobody tryin’ to get set apart from the crowd of cstores. Well, at least it ain’t a BP anymore, so I have said something good about them.
