Bed bugs!!!# this place is pretty much on the nasty side. I was in town for a week working and stayed there. Bad move! After a couple days I started having bites show up on me. The floor was soft in spots. Tile was broke all over bathroom. Smelled funny and the rate was not that great. Poor choice of hotel

Nasty nasty nasty. Dirty beds, loose carpet, broken lamps, the floors sank when you walked on them, smell was awful. This motel is like polishing a turd hoping for a better result. The wifi password explains the whole hotel«deadbeef01» no kidding.

This is an older hotel with two floors. You can park by the door of your room. Upstairs is not terribly accessible as it has a few stair steps. The room features a large TV with many cable channels, an outdoor pool, and continental breakfast. There is free wireless internet, which I am using to write this review. The sink is outside the bathroom, which has a full tub. The TV is large. The desk is by the window and has an outlet for power and a rolling chair. There is also a an armchair by the TV. The phone is by Lucent and free of complicated instructions. The staff looks to be family and is cheerful even when you ring the bell to wake them up at 1 a.m. and then again at 7 a.m.(hey, I am high maintenance) The first room I was given had a noisy and slow air conditioning unit, but I was offered a different room and that was an improvement. Granted, it is about 102 degrees here and that is not normal for Springfield. If you hope to save a little money this is a reasonable choice. Bear in mind you have many options in this city. I have stayed in the full range from $ 24 a night to $ 100 a night, in this case the room was $ 56 after tax for a king bed.
