Big Lots

Big Lots is my (not so very) guilty pleasure! I drive by this place every day to and from work, and have to stop myself from going in too often to check out the «treasures!!» My favorite section is (of course!!!) the food, which is a great mix of «off brand» staples, close outs, and lots of international surprises! Every holiday season, I get my mom a $ 10 box of smoked Nova Scotia salmon, and lots of fancy chocolates and candies with all kinds of funky, exotic names. If you’re adventurous/​lucky, you can also find some great, lesser know toiletries and secret potions that no self-​respecting (boring) drug store would even think of carrying! Look for hidden kitchen/​knick-​knack bargains here as well, and all sorts of home, office, and holiday season goods for MUCH better prices than the «big boxes!!»
Didn’t this place used to be called «Odd Lots?» THAT was a PERFECT name for this perfectly ODD mix of all sorts of stuff you never realized you need, but you DO!!!
