I love going to this library. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Always new items to check out and if they don’t have what you are looking for they will get it. Lots of selection in books and movies. Love this place!

I have lived in several places throughout the country (including bigger cities like Atlanta), IMHO, Springfield-Greene County has one of the best library systems.
The Brentwood Branch Library is a nice fit for folks (like my mom) who do not want to use the huge branches like The Station or The Center. Even though it is smaller, it has a good selection of children’s books, a children’s reading program and a decent number of computers for public use. There are a lot of people in our community who depend on the library’s public access computers. There’s free Wi-Fi and numerous tables to work from.
The employees are also very knowledgeable and eager to assist.
I gave only 4 stars because the resources are less than some of the larger libraries in Springfield.

I love walking into this library. It has the best «friendly neighborhood» vibe. I thought about buying a house within walking distance of this library — that’s how special it is.
The librarians are kind. If you step to the center desk and need help, there are often two different people, so you don’t have to wait at all for assistance.
When you check out a book or have a question, the counter people are always pleasant and efficient, and the librarian in the children’s area is just absolutely PHENOM with parents and kids alike. He was great when our kids were little and we would come to visit.
