Bridal Assistance By Suzanne

Suzanne was AWESOME! She did my make-​up for my wedding in Oct 2014. I got the air brush, and it was fantastic. She did it exactly the way I wanted to look for the wedding — very clean and natural. She also did air brush for my bridesmaids and mothers, and was incredibly sweet to everyone. I give her 5 stars and highly recommend her services to all brides in DC area:-) Thanks, Suzanne!

Suzanne helped in the later stage of my daughter’s wedding. We had already picked the church, the reception venue, and a number of the vendors but, as the wedding day got closer (maybe six weeks or so away), my daughter and wife (and I!) started to stress at the prospect of pulling everything together. Then, incredibly, my daughter and wife met Suzanne. She was the ultimate facilitator, pulling all the diverse pieces together as she coordinated with the florist, the photographer, the wedding venue, etc. From her past experience as a full-​time wedding planner, she was incredibly knowledgeable (in the days leading up to the wedding) regarding what needed to be done, and when. Then, for the wedding itself, she helped with the wedding rehearsal details. She then did a terrific job on the wedding day itself. That day, my daughter and all her bridesmaids had their hair done by Suzanne (who came to our house to do it). They all looked terrific. When that was done, Suzanne changed roles and became the facilitator again, making sure things were squared away with getting my daughter to the church. Then, Suzanne went to the wedding venue, and worked with the venue before and during the reception (as well as with the DJ and photographer) to make sure everything went well there. And it did.
So, the bottom line is that not only was Suzanne incredibly knowledgeable and aware of what needed to be done, she was incredibly gracious in doing so. She didn’t «take over» anything. When appropriate, she made suggestions, but she was more than willing to follow my daughter’s lead on what my daughter would like. If Suzanne saw some concern, she didn’t overlook it. But she would raise it in a manner that really fostered collaboration. Overall, her work was essential to the success of my daughter’s wedding, both in how it lowered the stress level and in how it enhanced the whole experience. Her price for all that she did and how she did it was incredibly reasonable and I’d highly recommend her for the wedding experience and for how she did the girls’ hair.

I found Suzanne purely by chance when I was looking for someone to do make-​up for a group of us for the Commandant’s Marine Corps Birthday Ball (a VERY formal event) and boy am I glad I did! From the moment Suzanne walked in the door she did everything she could to make us all feel at ease and keep us smiling. She is not only professional but also very friendly and gets to know you so she can better assess how to make your make-​up look uniquely you.
Suzanne travelled to our location to do make-​up for several of us. Upon arrival she got set-​up and talked with each of us about what our desires were in regards to our make-​up. She took these into account and made some suggestions based on what our dresses and hair looked like and then went to work. Her work is exquisite and unique to each individual she works with. (I can say this because we had several people with extremely varied looks and she tailored each of our looks to each of us as individuals.) I’ve had a lot of people do my make-​up over the years but never have I had such a great experience. Everything was absolutely perfect with my make-​up without me having to fuss about something not looking quite right. Suzanne did airbrush as well as full make-​up in a careful but efficient manner so all of us gals were ready to make it to the ball on time! Also her prices are VERY reasonable.
Bottom line — Book your make-​up with Suzanne and you most definitely will not be disappointed! I’ve used her twice and am booking her for a third time!

Suzanne is a LIFESAVER! She helped with every aspect of my wedding and took so much stress away from me and the planning process. I always dreamed of a perfect wedding and Suzanne helped pulled it off. I could not imagine anyone else doing all she did. LOVE HER and highly recommend her!
