I have a soft spot for Café Du Jour. The owners couldn’t be sweeter. Their coffee does the trick. You can get tasty homemade lebanese food, as well as sweets, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, soups, and fruit. The ambiance isn’t much to speak of, but it’s a great little place nonetheless.

The best hot mochachinos, I am addicted. Also fresh humus and delicious soup! I love going there… great way to start your day.

Coffee was not very good, and we got kicked out not long after ordering. We would’ve appreciated the warning before we ordered!

Unfriendly. I felt like I was wasting their time by ordering something. Did not look very clean, either. Won’t be going back

Wow, these folks must be masters of the art of Unilocal-Jitsu. My experience was vastly different. Stopped in on Saturday morning for coffee and breakfast. For example, the reviewer who crowed ‘they make the food right in front of you!’ For the breakfast sandwiches we ordered that consisted of taking a frozen egg pattie and nuking it in a microwave. The sandwiches were edible but somewhat cold in the center. We ordered several lattes. The milk was scorched and the espresso shots were weak. Ugh. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars and not 1 is because the prices were somewhat reasonable and the gentleman running the counter was pleasant.

When you ask for a turkey bacon egg and cheese, they’ll give you the whole turkey. Awesomely cheap price for everything and the breakfast sandwiches are made fresh!

* Excellent, excellent little place! * Let me being by saying I have NO financial interest in this café, or any café or eatery. I know two of the owners by first name. I don’t know their last name, have never worked for or with them, and have zero interest in this or any eatery. — MYHONESTREVIEW — This café is on Main Street near Courthouse Square. It has big windows and counters up front, with excellent views up and down Main. Their sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, coffee, tea, treats, fruit, gelato’s — all are 2nd-to-none. The service is the best. Run by a very, very nice Lebanese-American family that takes pride in this café. It’s kept absolutely spotless. I believe the owner(or manager?) was born in – at least was raised in, and lives right in Springfield. He used to own a great little coffeehouse in Northampton. As a patron of five years(so far), I can honestly say I always feel very warmly welcomed, and very much appreciated at Café Dujour. * Phil

The service is very friendly and breakfast is very affordable. Bonus: the family that owns it makes thier own hummus and sells it.
