A very rustic hiking trail that abuts the Sangamon River. It features hills and streams to scramble over plus a high degree of solitude. The trail side (I think there’s a park side also) isn’t there for your morning job with your stroller. There’s barely a trail at all through much of the forested area. I found it by accident, and it’s a pleasant surprise to have such a challenging trail in city limits.
