I can’t say enough positive things about this place. They are the best at what they do. Seldom do you find such a clear example of excellence as the fine people at this particular shop, but they’ve won my loyalty forever. Now, no one thinks that ink replacement is an important job, but these people show that any job done well has the power to make a significant difference in the lives of people in a community. My story is proof. I had spent about an hour researching the most cost effective printer solution for my wife’s new work-from-home arrangement and was surprised to find just how needlessly complicated it is to find information about what type of printers take what kind of ink and how much it was going to cost to operate the darn thing as soon as I could find it. Here’s the secret scam of Epson, HP, Brother and the rest– they don’t make any money on the printer, in fact they might lose a little, its ALL about the ink. If you’ve ever bought a $ 50 printer and spent $ 50 to replace the first ink cartridge, this should be obvious. Anyway, after painstakingly piecing together a comparative analysis of printers and ink based on an internet printer value calculator and several searches for information about cartridge costs and yields, I call my friends down at Cartridge World where I know they’re going to save me money on the ink to get the real cost of the ink. The first call I make I find out that the printers and cartridges I’m considering getting entangled with are so new that they haven’t dealt with them before, but the gal tells me she’ll look into it and call me back. And then THEYDID call me back about 10 minutes later and proceeded to answer several complicated technical questions about types of ink cartridges, yields, and refill prices and even made recommendations on the types of cartridge compatibility I should look for with a lazer printer, as well as the helpful tip that all color printers slowly drain color ink even while printing in black and white. I ended the conversation by telling the kind and competent lady on the other end of the phone she was officially more helpful than the internet and I meant it! Outstanding, helpful service saving me time and money and making my life better and easier by being excellent at her job. I think it takes a good bit of character to be so good at something many may consider insignificant, but she blew mind. I should also add that while I was at Staples narrowing down the final ink beast I called 2 – 3 times and asked more questions which they answered most helpfully. I am only sad that I couldn’t have purchased my first cartridge from them, they didn’t have it in stock, but you better believe I’ll be back. Fan freaking tastic, go here, don’t waste your time anywhere else.
