Small but well-​stocked «storefront» library satellite branch hidden away in a line of stores in the Kroger Shopping Center on Bechtle. VERY helpful staff will help find just about anything you need. The main branch library in downtown Springfield is amazing, a true oasis in a semi-​dying city, but this branch is SO convenient, especially when you’re running errands and need to either pick up or return some books or movies. Nice kids section, and LARGE music and books-​on-​tape selections as well– Can’t go wrong! I like the easy-​going 1 day «grace period» for overdue stuff. Bathroom’s kinda stinky, unfortunately, but otherwise clean, comfy, and cozy place to be…
