A great spot to get a drink and a meal. The patrons are friendly and the menu is robust. I wish I lived closer so I could see what it’s like on Fri/​Sat night, but I hear people take cabs from the far-​flung Springfield suburbs just to hang out here.

Rushville, IL
The place is under new Managment and appears to be on the rise. With some changes and improvements, it definitely could be a hot spot around Springfield. For now, it needs a kitchen and more inviting exterior. I was greeted warmly by the staff and served cold beer. This was good. It needs a more inviting outside image and the place would be a staple for sports fans around town.

Don’t go here to watch football on Sundays! They have 10 tvs set up on 2 cable boxes so essentially you can only watch 2 games. For some reason they decided to change the bears game with 8 minutes left. Of course I would expect this out of state, but not in Illinois. Yeah, the bears were down by 10, but they had the ball and were driving (they scored btw) only lost by 3 but would have liked to watch it!
Also, the «regulars» are very rude and feel entitled over other patrons.

Decent little watering hole with lots of cheap bar food! Full on grill and most of the stuff was pretty good. We had cheese sticks, fried mushrooms, jalepeno poppers, and quesadillas. Only the quesadillas were so so. Everything else (fried) was awesome.
The beer was pretty cheap as well. They were out of bud light and it was a Thursday so the place must either go through a lot of beer or not order enough :). If you want a cheap beer and snack this place has my vote. There were also pool tables and dart boards. Several large LCD’s by the bar to watch sports on. Outdoor smoking beer garden as well.
