Not as pretty as Scheels, but Gander does carry some useful items that Scheels does not, so be sure to check here.

These guys are not knowledgeable about gun laws. Just tried to purchase ammunition from an adjoining state. They refused to do that despite the state law that allows you to purchase handgun caliber for long gun use. Wal-Mart’s, Dick’s sporting goods, Bass Pro, and even Cabelas have all sold them to me. Manager tried to get me to lie by asking if I am hunting. I explained that you cannot hunt with that cartridge and the question is an obvious attempt to get me to lie. I explained that it was for target use in a long gun. Very frustrating as the cashiers and all the staff acted as I was a lunatic. By the way, I drove to Walmart down street and 30 minutes later bought the same said ammo for 20% less.
Spoke with the store manager Jim. He concur that they should. have sold me the ammunition and will address the staff. Still a hassle.

Ever since Scheels was built Gander Mountain has seen some harder times for sure but just so people know we found things at Gander Mountain that they didn’t have at Scheels and the prices at Gander Mountain were cheeper on some things. I would check it out maybe first if you have the time.
