These people really care about helping you reach your goals! I was in town on business, the hotel fitness center just did not have the equipment I needed to stay on track with my fitness routine. I contacted Anthony at Genesis about working out for the week. I was expecting to have to pay some type of fee for the week, but when I went in to speak with him, he gave we a pass for the week! Thank you Anthony and all the staff at Genesis for your hospitality!

I was very disappointed to see that a leak from the air conditioner unit onto electrical wiring and an elliptical machine was not taken seriously. I had to find a genesis health team member that was available(a girl that was very hard to get the attention of while she was staring out the front window with her mouth open), finally after getting her attention and motioning her over to me, I let her know about the concerns with a leak that was over the electrical equipment. She then went to her supervisor and told him there was a leak. He made an effort to poke his head out of the office for a split second and reply«Oh, a leak.» The manager, that was referred to as Gabe, then retreated back to the office to disregard the concern… I was on the gym arc trainer for 45 minutes, of that 45 minutes NOONE even acted as though this was any concern. I feel as though I was the person with the greatest concern, monitoring the effected elliptical machine, trying to keep an eye out for anyone that was willing to work out on a WET machine whilst WET cords were on the ground in front of it… disappointing.

I have been working out at Ozarks Fitness for the past 7 years and exactly one year ago I signed a new contract with them with the understanding that I would be able to transfer my membership to a gym in Denver when I moved there. I moved in September and I was then told that Ozarks Fitness was bought out by Genesis and that there wasn’t a gym in Denver that I could transfer to. I called and cancelled my membership. The next month they withdrew 45 $ from my bank account. I called and explained everything again and told them I cancelled yet was still being charged. They would not refund me the 45 $ they charged yet they reassured me that my membership was now cancelled. The next month comes around and again, I was charged another 45 $. Same exact thing happened for the 2nd time. No refund, nothing but«Sorry about that, I’ll make sure to cancel the membership so you will no longer be charged.» The next month, AGAIN I was charged! They told me that a general manager or someone above them would not be able to help me. I tried to call and email Genesis through there website and have never gotten any response. Straight up thieves who don’t give two shits about you, all they want is your money!
