Gertrude Hawk Chocolates

Chocolate peanut butter bar was great — a friends kid was selling Gertrude Hawk for a fundraiser (I did not know they did that?).
Sometimes stop into the Springfield Mall store for a treat for my own kid.

Good chocolates at a reasonable price — definitely cheaper than Godiva. My mom won’t shut up about the raspberry cookie covered in chocolate, or the raspberry chocolate bar. She said «they do raspberry really well.»
Guess I’ll have to bring her here so she can stock up on the goodies she liked from Mother’s Day!

C’mon, with Chocolate in the name you don’t stand a chance. It could been named Gertrude Hawk Possible Chocolates or Gertrude Hawk Soy Chocolates or Gertrude Hawk Imitation Chocolates — you know you must have it.
I visited «Gertrude’s» — yes we’re on a first name basis — and said «Gert, do you have Raspberry Jellies with Dark Chocolate». She quickly replied YES. I selected a ¼ pound. I was about to purchase the jellies and leave. Suddenly, a store attendant placed two broken chocolate covered pretzels packages on the counter. Each package contained two broken chocolate covered pretzels packages with a price of 50 cents each. Normally the price is considerably higher. Now, I ask you, would you refuse. I triple dog dare you to turn down chocolate covered pretzels.
The jellies are safely tucked away for consumption later but, the chocolate covered pretzels met their fate in the comfort of my car while in the PARKING LOT!

Awesome candy apples! Been looking for a place that can compare to Savannah’s Candy Kitchen in Savannah, GA. I although this place is not it, they can still compete on a smaller scale.
The $ 1.99 chocolate cover ice cream with nuts is allllllllllll the rave! Freshly dipped and serve upon order.
Katie, the young lady working was sweet as pie! Who could of thunk it: a sweetheart working in a sweets shop! Absolutely awesome =}
