if you’re thinking about ordering delivery from this heads west location, think again. hands down the worst customer service i have ever received anywhere in my life. a coworker and i placed a delivery order for two sandwiches and two sodas. an hour after placing the order, the order had not yet arrived… although the distance for the delivery driver was only 1.5 miles i understood that it was lunchtime and we could expect to wait awhile. called the store to check on the status of the order, however the phone rang without answer… each of fives times i called. mind you the debit card had already been charged for the order by this point. my coworker tries calling and after a few attempts gets through. she is informed that our order is out for delivery, but at this point it has been precisely 90 minutes since we placed our order. we’re interested in getting our money back. i then speak with the female on the phone, ask her if we could be refunded our money. she says this is only possible if we don’t want the food, which of course we do because we’re quite hungry and our lunch break is nearly over.(also, if she was being honest, our food is on its way) she informs me that i could have called to find out what was going on and i reply that i did, multiple times. admittedly our conversation was not entirely cordial, however i held it together pretty well until she point blank asked me «what do you want me to do?» with such contempt, knowing that the answer was«good customer service»(courteousness, remorse, a refund, our FOOD, ideally all of the above). i felt that the conversation was not headed in a productive direction and i was really surprised at what had transpired, so i hung up. my coworker decided to call back to ask for a refund, which she got. we both ran out to get other food to eat. when i returned another coworker informed me that there was a guy up front here to deliver our food. 1 hour 45 min after the order was placed. really? i went and spoke to him, explained what had happened. he left with the food. someone realized afterwards that he had left the two drinks and gave them to me. then a few minutes later someone tells me he came back to get the drinks he left behind! ridiculous, embarrassing, shameful customer service. for one thing, the sandwiches that we custom-ordered would almost certainly be thrown out and wasted anyway. but the heart of the matter is: is it not worth it to satisfy your customers by both refunding them their $ 20 and giving them the food they ordered after you made them wait nearly 2 hours for it? obviously not to the employees of this head west.

My sister treated me to lunch here recently and I had the Italian sub. It was DELICIOUS and tasted exactly like an AUTHENTICSUBSANDWICH should. I was greeted by the friendly staff as soon as I walked in. As a first timer, they answered all of my questions and made me the perfect sandwich. The prices are reasonable, so I will definitely be back.

This is what the national sub chains SHOULD be like! Great sweet bread sandwich and run it thru a toaster and you got a delicious lunch.
