I love Indigo Imports. They have a huge selection of unique and interesting furniture from all over the world, all at incredible prices. Here are a few reasons you should buy from here rather than the dozens of other big-​box furniture stores around town:
1) Locally owned — this place has been locally owned and operated for 14 years. When you enter, it’s likely the owner and his dog will greet you with a smile and conversation.
2) The salespeople don’t harass you — this is big for me. I loathe going to chain furniture stores because the salespeople follow you around like vultures. At Indigo, you’ll actually hear the employees say something along the lines of «if you need help, please come and get me because I’m not going to follow you around.» What a breath of fresh air.
3) Reasonably priced — for the quality of furniture Indigo Imports stocks, you’d think the prices would be through the roof. It’s not IKEA cheap, but you will easily find an interesting piece of quality furniture — whether its a buffet or table or stool or hutch or a myriad of other things — at a comparable (and often cheaper) price to what you’d find at other chain furniture stores.
3) Unique — the stuff they have here is one of a kind, plain and simple. If you go in looking for a bench and find one you love, you better snatch it up quickly because there probably isn’t another one like it. Anything you buy here will be unique and not have that mass-​produced quality that you find everywhere else.
Do yourself a favor and at least stop by this place and look around. You won’t be disappointed.
