The framing job and color choices were fantastic. Also damaged my irreplaceable item on purpose. I brought in artwork that our child made when she was little. The picture was not a perfect rectangle, so the owner suggested the he cut off the top to give it perfect right angles. I asked him to please not do that, as one of the purposes of framing the item was to preserve it, and chopping up the artifact to fit the frame made no sense whatsoever. The image was not a perfect rectangle because it was made by a small child, which is part of what we loved about it. We worked out how we wanted to frame it, I gave him $ 150 deposit, and he told me it would be done in 2 weeks. On the 3rd week I had not heard from him so I stopped by. He said that it was not done yet, and that he would call me when it was finally complete. I made a point to re-emphasize the importance of him not cutting up our child’s picture. We wanted to preserve the picture exactly as our child had created it with her little hands. At the end of the 4th week I called because it was not yet completed. I received a call back the next day that the item would be completed later on that afternoon. I went to pick up the frame about a month after I had dropped it off(twice the time I was quoted). The framing looked fantastic. He then proudly pointed out that he had chopped off part of the top of our child’s picture. I was a little shocked, and asked him why he would do that after I clearly, clearly told him that under no circumstances did I want him cutting pieces off of our child’s picture. To my further shock he argued with me, and tried to tell me that it was MYIDEA to cut pieces off the item. I cannot remember the last time a customer service experience made me that angry. I did my best to remain calm and walked him through our interactions. He looked again at his notes and realized that I was correct. He seemed to feel bad, and took $ 50 off the price. I didn’t care about $ 50, I cared about preserving the picture. I am hurt and angry that he damaged our child’s picture on purpose. Jeff’s Picture Framing will make a good frame, but it might take a month and your irreplaceable item might be damaged on purpose.

Jeff did a great job framing my Back To The Future Poster and autographed Steven Spielberg picture. I am giving him only one star because he took over 4 weeks to frame these items. Every time I would call Jeff he would tell me it would be done on a certain day but when I called him on that day it was not done. When I went to pick up my pictures I asked Jeff if he had my Certificate of Authenticity for the Steven Spielberg picture and he said he must of misplaced it. He said he would mail it to me. That was over 6 months ago and I have still not received my Certificate of Authenticity.

This is a great framing shop. Don’t let the small building or the caricature on the sign fool you, this is one of the best anywhere. Jeff’s been at this for most of his life, and he’s no spring chicken. If it can be done there’s a good chance Jeff has done it before. Walking through the front door is a visual avalanche of color and texture consisting of a huge selection of frames and matting materials. I couldn’t believe how many frame samples were in the showroom. When I asked Jeff he told me he has just over 5,000 styles to choose from. The service is fast and friendly, if you don’t know what it is you want, Jeff has a great eye and can help you come up with a design you’ll really like. I loved the pieces he did for me and would strongly suggest checking him out if you have some art or photos you have been meaning to get framed.
