I placed an order online, waited an hr before calling to find out where my order was. The number was not in service. I ended up finding a review on here that they were out of business!

About a year ago, I reviewed this restaurant and had nothing but good things to say about them. The restaurant was recently closed for 46 days(June 1st-July 16) for renovation and when they opened, it was renamed Koi Asian. The food here tastes NOTHING like it used to and I’m incredibly disappointed. This, again is coming from a young woman who has been coming here since I was 11 and I am now 26 about to be 27. They did not indicate that they were under new management or being franchised or bought out. The food is now sub par. The pork fried rice is now yellow and flavorless. The pork in the rice is shriveled up and barely noticeable. The chicken fingers are half the size they used to be and the teriyaki is bite sized. I’m very angry as I write this post because I just don’t understand the abrupt change. I’ve often bypassed Wong Wok to come to this restaurant even though Wong Wok is within walking distance and going to China Gourmet requires me to hop in my car. I’ve come to this restaurant just about every week or every other week since forever and I just wish this didn’t hapen. The only decent Chinese food we have left in Springfield is Wong Wok now who will get my business when I’m in the mood for Chinese food. #thatisall

Awesome duck sauce and even better generals chicken, the call it generals clings I believe. Crab ran goons are below average but not terrible. Beef teriyaki are more like flank steak. Very meaty not paper thin like every where else. Good value for money.

I made the mistake of order off the Thai menu. It was the worst Massaman Curry Chicken I’ve ever had, well below food court quality. It lacked peanuts, potatoes and the squash like substance was cooked down into nothing. The chicken was the consistency of rubber. The curry sauce lacked enough of the balancing coconut milk. I ended up only eating the white rice that came with the meal. I hear the Chinese menu is better.

This is a decent place for a quick lunch. My wife and I stopped there on our way to a MD appt. We were in an out in plenty of time for the appt. We didn’t feel like their luncheon specials which looked okay, but we prefer spring rolls over egg rolls and that was the main appetizer in many of their specials. We opted for an entrée and a rice noodle dish. The hot and sour soup was fabulous; probably the best around. The sesame chicken was average and the pork rice noodle(mei fun) dish was above average. Their duck sauce was very sweet but watery which made it kind of messy for eating the little fried sticks they gave us as we first sat down.
