These reviews are hilarious! I have no idea what makes this Kroger’s «ghetto.» What does that even mean in central Ohio? And why is everyone so concerned about the presence of a security guard? It’s in a strip mall off of I-70, so no, it’s not a boutique organic food shop in a cute downtown. It’s a freaking Kroger’s. 5 out of 5 as far as Kroger’s go, but 3 out of 5 in general, cause you know… It’s a Kroger’s.

I stop here frequently on my way home. It’s not in the best neighborhood and they have a security officer always on duty there when you walk in. It’s a very small kRogers. You won’t find exotic food here or a huge selection of meat but what impress me the most is; go anywhere in this store and you can’t pass an employee who doesn’t greet you and offer to help you find something. We have told the assistant manager about this and he was very appreciative. Check out can get snug but they try to open additional lanes. When I am stopping by its usually between 5 – 7 pm. So I don’t know what it’s like at other hours.

Yes… yes this is a ghetto store but I like it. The staff are friendly and I know where everything is in the store. I’ve been going to this store since I was a kid and I’ve never had a problem. The larger Kroger’s are nice but not practical when I just need to run in and buy a few items.

When I lived in Columbus we called the nearby Kroger«Kroghetto» due to its, er, questionable nature. But everyone can go home now because I’ve found the true Kroghetto.
