Macy’s

Getting this review in before they close. Per the employees, that could be sometime in March. Right now, they’re in total clearance/​liquidation mode: everything is up to 70% off! Just keep your eyes peeled: some things are better deals than others.
When I went in (early February), the store was obviously low on merchandise. When I realized this Macy’s was being closed, I decided to stock up on basic staples, namely jeans. Pairs of $ 50+ Levi’s were marked down to $ 30 each, so I bought several.
The shoe section is heavily picked over, as is the casual clothes section for women. There’s still plenty of formal wear, fur coats, etc. Jewelry counter still had plenty to offer, with hefty discounts. Makeup and perfume also discounted, though much less than any other merchandise.
All sales are final, so be sure you try everything on!

This Macy’s is hit or miss. It’s a smaller store, so often I find they don’t have all the sizes or styles that are at the bigger stores. On this particular day, I was looking for a business suit. They only have one small corner with suits & all that was left were giant slacks & tiny blazers… not gonna work.
That said… they do have friendly employees. It’s rarely crowded. They are one of the few redeeming qualities at the Eastfield Mall.
