We were traveling and visiting friends and went to Matts BJJ combatives gym. Everyone was very welcoming and there were no one day mat fees. All we had to do was sign a waiver and hit the mat! The teaching was very informative and we got to practice each technique as he explained it! The atmosphere was friendly and everyone was eager to roll and learn. All in all it was a great experience!
There was especially this wonderful Japanese family who made us feel the most welcome and took pictures and trained with us! They are defiantly an asset to keep around!
Minus getting vertigo in the ladies bathroom for the flashing light (thank goodness here is a second one). The experience was top rated!

Great instructors. A real team-community feel to it. I’m currently enlisted in the Army as an infantryman and there is no gym better than this one, run by the father of Modern Army Combatives. A place for those with a military background to train!
