Great service and delicious food. The lemon meringue is to die for. Check out the flea market and get some great food and dessert. Get there early or you’ll miss out on the dessert.

A smidge pricy for a lunch, but the atmosphere makes it so worth it. The Mushroom and Sage Soup is VERY tasty. I had the Tea Room special and paired it with the Marx’ Brother’s Turkey Panini — a fine sandwich, and a GREAT pair.

I stopped by Ms. Gilmore’s at Christmas. I could browse here for hours. It is chock full of antiques and treasures. Beautiful and unique. My all-frills daughter about hyperventilated when she saw the tea room. It was closed but the owner gave her permission to walk through and drool at the black & white tables with hot pink linen napkins. Store prices are all over the board. I bought some cute Christmas ribbon for my mantle which was very reasonable. The hutch I really wanted for my entryway… well, it’s not completely out of reach. But a bit out of budget. I returned today with a friend and my youngest daughter for lunch at the tea room. Reservations are recommended but, fortunately, we were the first to arrive. My friend ordered a quiche which came with a salad. I ordered the Monte Cristo and subbed salad for the chips.(The creamy raspberry vinaigrette was wonderful but I had to ask for a little more.) The Monte Cristo was a perfect portion. Some restaurants make them so big only my big-mouthed brother could possibly take a bite. These were smaller but filling. Preserves perfect for dipping. The coffee, well, I could have ditched the cute teacup. Bring me a mug, please. I think my friend and I each had our poor waitress refill our coffee about four times. We tried dessert. My friend tried the strawberry cake. Yum! Moist and flavorful but not over the top. I tried the lemon bar. It was too tart for my taste and way too much.(A mountain of meringue.) Well, I got a box and had no trouble gobbling it down later that day. Definitely a place for the girls, big or small. Wonderful food and experience.

For the customer at was not happy with our store, I would like to explain! The reason the hats are not for sale is because a sweet customer gave them to us to use! So it would be very rude to sell her gift. We let parties use them to have fun with! The wonderful thing about our shop we have low end to high end merchandise so everyone can shop with us! We’re sorry you won’t be back!

The place looked nice enough but I fell in love with this wide brimmed hat next to some vintage clothes and it was not for sale. Don’t put something out in customer reach if it is not for sale. I was so disappointed. Not all items are authentic vintage and antique. Still some nice stuff there. Worth taking the time to look around even if you don’t buy anything.

This place is fantastic, so much to see and very unique items. Totally enjoyed my time there. Three of my friends went with me and we had such a blast with everyone purchasing things. We returned the day the tea room opened. The tea room is so cute with all the MANY items on walls, hanging from lamps, love the tablecloths. Food was great! All 4 of us enjoyed our selections and two of my friends tried dessert about which they raved. Great find!!!

Ms. Gilmore’s Vintage Suitcase is so beautiful! My sister and I were checking out C-Street and the decorative storefront caught our attention. We stepped in and were happily greeted by a woman at the check out counter, who informed us the Tea Room portion of this shop is set to be opened by August first, but the bakery was already open, and to please look around. The shop is full of great antique items and gorgeous other odds and ends. Beautiful vintage reprints caught my attention, and I know exactly where I’ll be going for any new home decorations. They are stunning! There is so much to see here you could look around for an hour and not catch it all. It’s the kind of place you’d want to visit a few times to really get an idea of all the things they have. In addition to antiques, there were clothes, jewelry, soaps, candles, and the bakery had gorgeous looking goodies and beautiful baguettes. The store itself is gorgeous with beautiful handmade art-glass chandeliers and tin ceiling panels. The items are clustered, but it really works aesthetically. It’s adorable. I’ll be back for unique birthday gift finds and to enjoy the tea room with some bakery items!
