Pasfield House

CUSTOMER SERVICE! Wow! Tony and Cathy, the owners, are great people who go out of there way to make the experience the best it can be! We arrived in the middle of a bridal shower, the place was a little chaotic, but Tony found our reservation, got us our keys and showed us to our room. A cute little room, with a fireplace, kitchenette and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. :)
There’s only six rooms in the B & B and while we only know what ours was like, we got the impression that the others were just a cozy and clean.
The Pasfield is located about a block and a half from the capital building and right across the street from a visitors center, walking distance to most of the attractions in downtown Springfield.
Breakfast is left in the refrigerator in the room, just needs to be nuked and it’s ready to go, there’s a few different choices of egg things to choose from, and you preorder them online before you get there, but you also get muffins, fresh fruit and drinks in your room.
When we first checked in we couldn’t figure out why there were DVD players in each of the rooms, but the first night we figured it out when we came back from dinner, there was a little library of movies on the landing on the second floor, so we grabbed a movie, and had a nice relaxing night in the room.
We absolutely recommend staying at the Pasfield House if you’re in Springfield for a visit, the owners are great and the location was too!
