What a great shoe store. I needed orthotic shoes due to some foot injuries and really had no idea what to look for since my doctors really didnt explain anything to me. I ended up knowing a lot about my situation and a much better understanding of the how to proceed. Thanks to Mallory for all help. I also bought a pair of shoes that I feel will really help my recovery.

I’m never, ever used to having a customer service experience this good.
I bought a pair of awesome leather Remonte boots here a few weeks ago. Though they’re water/​snow repellant, I noticed a few greasy stains on them after a few days. The weather had been particularly bad, so I thought maybe I’d stomped an oil puddle by accident, and decided to head back to Plaza to see if they had any advice about how to get the stains out. I had zero expectations of them being able to help, but figured it was worth a shot.
When I got there, they were incredibly kind and seemed flummoxed about where the marks came from. They took pictures of the stains (which had been wet for several days… what did I step in!!!) and assured me they’d give me a call back either with a solution or a pair of replacement boots. Sure enough, today I got a call that there were replacement boots waiting for me at the store, so I went in and swapped them out, easy peasy.
If you’re looking for quality boots, tennis shoes, etc. (other brands here included Birkenstock, New Balance and Think!) with a great, invested staff, Plaza’s your store.
