Always an entaining evening.

First of all, the real address of this place is: 2200 Ernest Hemingway Dr., Springfield, IL 62 703
It is located inside the Public Affairs Building of the UIS campus.
Second, the photo shown is not of this auditorium.
It goes by:
Sangamon Auditorium, Reserved Studio Theater, and UIS Studio Theater.
This place is very small, holding only 200 people or so, and the seats are sardine-​can close.
The only redeeming factor was the good sound quality. But I could have stood in an aisle and enjoyed it much more.
If you plan to buy tickets, do not purchase Balcony R or L or you will not be able to see anything, as there is a horizontal pole directly obstructing your view in both rows.
It is unbelievable that this place is scamming people by selling tickets for any price with no view.
The address listed on their website, on this site, and on the mailed tickets is listed as 1 University Plz., Springfield, IL 62 703. That is the ticket office, not the auditorium. Due to this misleading information, I did not arrive at my scheduled concert until a half hour after it started.
Once inside the building, there were no signs for the concert nearby the entrance. No directions on how to locate it or anything. On asking a student, I was told where to go, and only right outside the auditorium door, were there any signs for the show.
I am so disappointed.
