Great scrapbook store!

I walked into this store and was immediately impressed by the clean, organized appearance and spacious show room. I am not an avid scrapbooker and probably do not fit the «typical» customer profile precisely as I’m not a soccer mom and simply enjoy paper crafts and Art. However, I’m female, 30-​something, and professional, so I am not accustomed to being treated strangely in a scrapbook store of all places. Seven or eight years ago I was a serious «regular» at a half-​dozen scrapbook stores in my hometown, so I’m not a total novice. The employee who greeted me was very rude and snotty from the beginning. I asked for a basic, staple item I’ve purchased dozens of times at other scrapbook stores and was told they don’t carry that item any longer with a disgusted look and wrinkle of her nose. She just had that stance like «get out of here», not a hint of a smile or anything. it was so bizarre and off-​putting. Hopefully she wasn’t the owner and there are other employees with better customer service skills, but I immediately left. It is their loss as I had come in for the specific item but was all set to browse this store and leave with several other purchases. A clean, attractive store is nothing without welcoming employees and therefore I begrudgingly bestow one non-​shiny Unilocal star upon Scrapbook Generation.
